Top Unsigned Seniors in Columbus - Part 2

The Columbus area is filled up with a ton of talent and a lot of the better talent in the state. With this being the case some really good players are not signed to colleges yet heading into their senior year. This article talks about those top unsigned seniors. Part 2.    Griffin is going to be vital for Reynoldsburg's success this year. On a team with a ton of talent, he is someone that will keep them together and make them good. He is a smart point guard who handles the ball and pressure well. He will be the primary ball handler for this team and will be a player that can win them games. He has a knack for scoring the ball from all levels.     McCruter is a very interesting player because when you walk into the gym his size jumps out at you. Then you see him play and he plays similar to a guard. He has a smooth and high-releasing jumper that is knocked down. He makes tough shots consistently because it is hard to contest him. He puts the ball on the ground and can make plays for himself. He is long and is a nice rim protector. So he has the qualities of a big player as well. Skilled basketball player.     McFadden is a player this is going to have a big year for Pick North. He is a defender you can stick on anyone to shut them down. He can guard all 5 positions. He has great length and strength. He is an athletic player who does a nice job of finishing around the basket. He seems to have a smoother and more confident jumper this year which makes him a real offensive threat.     Collins is a sniper at the highest level. He is someone who can change the momentum of games with his shooting ability. He has unlimited range and knockdown shots at a high level. He shoots the ball well off the dribble, spot up, and on the move. I always am impressed with his off-ball movement and create shots for himself without the ball even in his hands. He can stretch the floor for any team and you can rely on him to consistently knock down shots.     Harper is a physical and athletic player that many can not match. He has great strength and frame for a guard. He is a physical slasher that will finish at the rim through you. He does a good job on the boards for a guard because he can move you out of the way and then jump over you. He is a great player in transition that can beat everyone down the floor.     Appiah is a high-level finisher at the rim. He has some impressive finishes at the rim. He is acrobatic in the air and knows how the find the right angle to get his shot off. He has an amazing touch with both hands around the rim. He does a great job applying pressure at the rim in transition. He has a good build and size for this type of game as well. I think he is going to be one of the better players on an elite Olentangy Orange squad.
