Olentangy Orange, Whitmer, + Massillon Jackson Recap

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Saturday Morning, I went to a three-team scrimmage with Olentangy Orange, Whitmer, and Massillon Jackson some of the top three teams in the state. On Saturday they scrimmaged some of the top teams in the state and he did exactly that. His level of play took this Orange squad to another level. He is such an impactful player with his size and skill. He plays point guard a ton and is an elite playmaker. He has the size for a scoring mismatch. He does a great job of rebounding and defending as well. He is an athletic forward who knows his role and is excellent in that role. He is a disruptor and physical defender. He is a very active player in the press that Orange runs. He is a springy athlete who explodes and dunks the ball on dump-offs. He is a good point guard who is a great playmaker. He gets everyone on the floor involved and into the game. He plays with great pace and is always under control. He did a good job of breaking the press that both teams applied with the dribble or pass. He also hit some tough shots and buckets. The ball comes off his hands with great rotation and barely touches the rim. He has great range on his shot. You truly have to have a hand up if he has the ball in his hands in the half-court. He has great confidence to pull it from deep and with defenders in the way. He looks like a much more confident and skilled player. He has a good athletic and finishing ability at the rim that is hard to defend. He played his tail off as well. He has great stamina and effort every quarter he played in. Leach has always been skilled in his slashing and finishing ability. He showed his added consistent shooting on Saturday. He did a good job of shooting off the dribble and coming off of screens.
