Finefrock can shoot the stripes off the ball. The ball comes off his hands with great rotation and barely touches the rim. He has great range on his shot. You truly have to have a hand up if he has the ball in his hands in the half-court. He has great confidence to pull it from deep and with defenders in the way. He showed good efficiency too on Saturday.

You want find many better shooters across the region than Finefrock. When his feet are set, even after running off screens and other actions, it’s usually going in. Finefrock exploded for some big games in June for Massillon Jackson and had a big week at the NCAA Academy Individual Pathway in Rock Hill, SC during the final NCAA Live Period. Massillon Jackson also has unsigned seniors

who will be sure to also draw recruiting interest to the Polar Bears program this winter. I expect Massillon Jackson to be one of the top teams in northeast Ohio once again after they won a district title last season.

One of the top shooters in Ohio and even the region, Finefrock had some monster games this summer. A guard who really takes advantage if you don’t have a scouting report on him, most games Finefrock would have three 3’s in the first quarter before the opposing team realized how closely they had to guard him. Able to run off screens, spot up and hit one dribble pull-ups, it’s tough to stop Finefrock from letting it fly from long range. Massillon Jackson has a great 2025 trio of Finefrock,

Massillon Jackson was looking a bit like the prime Golden State Warriors on Saturday, making probably 45-50 3-pointers in three games. Finefrock had 11 in the first game of the day and caught fire early in the second game that I was able to catch. With the prolific offense that the Polar Bears are running early in the summer thanks to a senior trio that all return from last season, other teams simply aren’t as crisp just yet as Massillon Jackson is. When you combine chemistry, ball movement and elite shooting you get performances like what Finefrock had on Saturday where he shot the cover off the ball. Life is a little tougher in the well scouted Federal League come wintertime, but expect Massillon Jackson to run up the score on a lot of teams in the month of June.

Finefrock is a sniper. His shot is not the prettiest but it does not matter because it is an automatic shot. He is one of the best off-ball movers I have seen in some time. He sets all his cuts up perfectly. He changes speed when he does not have the ball to create space. Shows the basketball IQ this kid has. He is an amazing catch-n-shoot player and comes off screens ready to pull. He needs no space to get his shot off. He has great confidence and the shot comes off his hands quick.

Finefrock was on fire from long range for Massillon Jackson on Thursday. One of the elite shooters in the state, he doesn’t need much time or space to let it fly and make you pay. In summer games without scouting reports, Finefrock can get a couple up early before the defense knows what they’re up against and then it can turn into a long game of chasing him off the 3-point line. After knocking down maybe six 3’s, Finefrock helped his team get a big win over Westerville North in the afternoon part of the day. For Finefrock, improving physically is the next step in his development to make him more of a threat off the bounce and be able to defend tougher match-ups.

will both play key roles as Massillon Jackson balances a solid group of seniors and underclassmen this winter. Finefrock can get hot with the best of the best in the state and it’ll be interesting to see how he handles defenses who will be sure to want to limit his 3-point attempts in their defensive gameplan.
