Today, the NEPSAC Profiles series wraps up with a look at Vermont Academy.

Located in Saxtons River, Vermont, Vermont Academy is a private boarding and day school that competes in the NEPSAC AAA division.

Vermont Academy will be led this winter by [player_tooltip player_id='2341313' first='Isiah' last='Rose']. A versatile hybrid-forward, Rose plays with a terrific motor on both ends of the floor, while displaying a high level of skill on the offensive end. He continues to show a good feel for the game, the ability to score from either block in the post, and a knack for grabbing rebounds on both ends.

Below are six more prospects that should have a major impact for the Wildcats:

[player_tooltip player_id='2469215' first='Emmanuel' last='Cheung']

An athletic, lefty combo guard, Cheung excels at getting downhill off the bounce and putting pressure on the rim. He has a nice shot in the mid-range and plays with a good feel and pace on the offensive end of the floor. Defensively, he's physical while being quick enough laterally to really disrupt opposing ball-handlers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2417590' first='Musa' last='Kasanga']

Kasanga is another athletic combo guard, although different from Cheung in his own right. He's an above the rim athlete in the open floor, can defend multiple positions while creating a lot of turnovers, and can really shoot the basketball from behind the arc. His length creates issues for opponents on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470929' first='Filip' last='Mozoul']

A young big that continues to make big strides with his game on the offensive end of the floor, Mozoul is long, with good defensive instincts around the rim. He's already a quality shot blocker, does a good job of making opponents finish over his length, and can score with some touch in the paint on the other end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1379225' first='Jakye' last='Rainey']

Rainey is another combo guard that can get it done offensively and defensively. He's capable of playing on or off the ball, does a great job of making good reads out of ball screens, and can get hot in a hurry from behind the arc. Defensively, he has a unique combination of strength, mobility, and athleticism, allowing him to be a terrific on-ball defender on the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2325780' first='Zack' last='Scherler']

An imposing presence in the paint for the Wildcats, Scherler will be counted on for his ability to finish around the rim, activity as a roller in ball screens, and ability to rebound on the defensive end of the floor. On top of that, he shows signs of the ability to make standstill threes and is a terrific rim runner in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568339' first='Kamari' last='Whyte']

Whyte stands out due to his physical build and vertical athleticism. He's a highlight waiting to happen in transition, can bully smaller defenders in the paint, and does a great job of being a physical rebounder around the rim defensively. He's a capable perimeter shooter that makes good decisions with the ball and should only continue to get better from here on out.
