22p 3r 1a vs Rock Top

-Had a breakout performance in a big win over Rock Top highlighted by 4 dunks, the biggest being a left-handed hammer in transition on an opponent. Elliott returns to the area to step into a pretty big role with MZN as a play-maker off the bounce that shifts gears well to get to his spots. Elliott had a great sequence midway through the 1H with a poster dunk on the baseline, reverse finish off glass, and an extension lay with the left around the defense. As college coaches see the play-making and scoring that he brings on a nightly basis, I expect his recruitment to pick up

-Mundey stepped onto the floor with something to prove and made a big time statement. The usual off-balance perimeter shot-making was on display but Mundey was looking for blood off the bounce-- hammering home several explosive dunks on overmatched defenders both in the halfcourt and in transition. Mundey's ability to generate his own offense against different types of defenders while getting to the line with regularity and mixing in high-percentage looks in the paint when his team NEEDS a bucket shows the growth in his game. He looked more engaged defensively, is doing a better job of skipping the ball opposite to create high percentage looks for his teammates, and is playing with the consistent motor that you would expect from a top-5 player in the local 2026 class.

-The athleticism and spring in his step has returned to his previous form as Kanga was flying around defensively to block shots around the basket, rebound the basketball at a high level, and finish with two hands off of movement. Love his motor and activity as a roaming free safety defender that can cover a lot of ground on closeouts from the paint that deters slashers from attacking to the basket. The skillset is developing but he is an effective straight line driver from the wing that can also execute hook shots with either hand from the low block. George Mason got a steal.

24p 1r 1a vs Quality Education

Muhammad showed the full set of scoring skills despite his team's loss to a good QEA team, finishing with 56/40/80 shooting splits. The shifty guard darts quickly through seams in traffic and can beat his matchup to the spot to finish around the basket because he can execute on some real sharp driving angles to get downhill. Although he's very quick with the ball in his hands, I liked the balance on his pull-up both going towards the baseline and fading from the elbow. Would like to see him use that quickness at the defensive end to really bother taller defenders, he has the IQ to know where to be-- just needs to execute staying in his defender's hip without fouling. Impressive motor throughout the game depsite the score.

14p 5a 2r vs Prestige

-Muhammad came off the bench and showed why we ranked him in our initial top 15 in the 2028 class by performing efficiently in his minutes. He hit his first 5 shots, finished with a 5:1 assist to turnover ratio, and played assertively at both ends against a roster full of prep school players. Muhammad already boasts a pretty strong frame and uses it well to carve out space on drives to the rim. Love the feel that he showed by also being effective off the ball, knocking down shots and shifting the defense with his passes/drives from the second side.

-Augare-Deal is a rangy wing prospect that stood out because of his motor, athleticism, and growing skillset. The lefty wing has a developing handle that isn't always as fast as his body is moving but he has great vision in the open court. A capable shooter out to 15 feet, Augare-Deal projects as a versatile wing that can score, can create off the bounce, works hard on the class to extend possessions, and can make some highlight plays in the air. A really intriguing name to track in the local 2026 class.
