<p>St. Ignatius opened the season up with a 69-54 win over Hope Academy. They were led by #2 senior and Northwestern commit [player_tooltip player_id='1385292' first='Phoenix' last='Gill'] who had 24 points while junior standout big man Chris Bolte contributed 20 points in the win. [player_tooltip player_id='2617437' first='Nico' last='Harris'] also was in double figures with 11 points.</p>

<p>Manley started their season with a 67-26 victory against Legal Prep where they got 25 points from Sheldon Keith while Yak Kizer dropped 10 points and grabbed 18 rebounds!</p>

<p>Despite the loss 69-65 to Jacobs, Niles Notre Dame senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1434463' first='Brady' last='Sehlhorst'] had a huge night scoring 32 points against Jacobs.</p>

<p>Lane Tech wins a battle of CPS schools vs Phillips on opening night at DePaul Prep. Penn commit [player_tooltip player_id='1545128' first='Dalton' last='Scantlebury'] is one of the best bigs in the state and he showed it dropping 23 points and grabbing 11 boards.</p>

<p>Argo scored a nice 67-64 win against Nazareth. Kassam Saleh dropped 22 points while Darron Greer had 15 points in the win. Sleeper face up for [player_tooltip player_id='1598755' first='Matthew' last='Callahan'] had 18 points for Nazareth.</p>

[player_tooltip player_id='2617434' first='Myair' last='Thompson'] and Kenaz Jackson Jr are juniors we are big fans of and each had 11 points.</p>

<p>Big season is expected at Lemont and it started off well winning 65-50 against Providence Catholic. Top 3 junior Gabriel Sularski scored 16 points in his first game at Lemont.</p>

They won a game against very good Niles North team 69-63 as Western Illinois commit [player_tooltip player_id='1545133' first='Makai' last='Kvamme'] had 18 points. More backcourt help from [player_tooltip player_id='1435692' first='Rykan' last='Woo'] with 18 points and [player_tooltip player_id='1385311' first='Robert' last='Walls'] with 9 points.</p>
