Pomis, a 2026 high school prospect who likely is headed to a prep school in the fall, shrugged off an injury early in ElevateUAA’s come-from-behind win over the Midwest Renegades to score a game-best 22 points. He made shots from different spots and seemed to connect for two or three whenever his team needed to thwart a rally from the Renegades. Pomis missed some of the high school season with an injury and thus a prep-school option for him in 2026-27 might be his best option toward earning a scholarship for the next level.
