Jordan

The return of [player_tooltip player_id='1280980' first='Rivers' last='Knight'] makes Jordan High an easy favorite to take things home in the DC 6. He's a versatile 6-foot-9 forward who can operate inside and out in a variety of ways on both ends of the hardwood. With a slew of HM DI offers already, he's a prospect in the 2026 class with a bright future ahead of him on the NCHSAA stage and beyond. Add in the return of point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1990412' first='Derek' last='Ross Jr']. and the continued emergence of 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2268825' first='Julian' last='Lowe'], a standout at this year's PH Carolinas Showcase, and the Falcons are an easy contender to make noise in the state title race.

The Hornets will look to [player_tooltip player_id='1454561' first='Ameil' last='Braswell'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2636724' first='Brendon' last='Watley'] to take things over after finishing 6-4 in the DC 6 this past season. Braswell is due to breakout after producing 6.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.1 assists per game as a do-it-all guard in their backcourt. They're a well-coached group who should play a bit energized given last year's result which saw Chapel Hill finish at the top of the standings as regular-season champions. They'll be a veteran senior group for sure with a new face or two that'll step up alongside Braswell and Watley.

Riverside-Durham

Riverside-Durham are an up-and-coming squad in the DC 6 after finishing 6-4 and second in the overall standings thanks to head-to-head. They'll look to [player_tooltip player_id='1454562' first='Mekhi' last='Sneed'] and Rob McDonald to take things over after both had productive seasons on the varsity stage and the grassroots scene over the past couple of months. Don't sleep on the Pirates as another team who could make a playoff run.
