Showed he is a legit threat scoring the ball in the two scrimmages I watched over the weekend. Pump in 40 points in the Coolidge scrimmage and 23 in the Frederick Douglass scrimmage. He has the IQ and poise to be an elite scoring point guard in high school and beyond. Personally, Ant has elite handles to break down his defender, makes great use of the hesitation move to keep his man off balance, and can fill it up from all 3 levels with efficiency. Brown makes great decisions with the ball in hand, reads the defense well to make plays to open teammates, likes to create off the dribble applying pressure to the defense, and has the creativity to finish at the rim over taller, longer players. I was truly impressed how Brown controls the flow of the game and knows when to kick it into gear and when to slow it down and work for a quality shot. He is a the ultimate BUCKET GETTER!

We look at a player who consistently took advantage of his opportunities within the flow of the action, Ashton is a scrappy, unselfish two-way guard prospect who provides a nice combination of motor, toughness, and perimeter shooting. Graves is a capable penetrator, but is arguably at his best when hitting shots off the catch. He sets up others whenever possible and consistently outworks opponents defensively. Next in his development process is working on his ability to move without the ball, as it would make him an even better spot-up threat.

Moving forward, let's take a long at a young Canada import first time watching him play. Who seems to effortlessly fill it up in every type of setting, Alex Jobin is a smart, crafty guard prospect with the ability to produce from either backcourt position. Calvert can score the ball in a variety of ways and apply constant, yet efficient pressure from all levels. He possesses a tight handle, quick first step, and great understanding of how to use jabs/fakes to create separation. Jobin is a smooth/shifty playmaker and scrappy defender. Another underclassmen who will be ranked in the next sophomore listing.

Next, we look at a player who made a lasting impression through his motor and team-oriented approach to the game, Dylan Bolding. He's a tough, scrappy guard prospect with IQ, vision, and the ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor. Bolding handles the ball well and gets others involved at a strong rate. He's a capable scorer who understands how to assert himself within the flow of the action.

A new name to be in the rankings. Despite Carroll balance as a group, it was easy to appreciate Amadi's involvement on both ends of the floor. It might sound weird, but he truly looks like a basketball player, particularly through his frame, fluidity, and general movement as a prospect that showed he is comfortable playing the 1, 2 or the 3. Chima is a strong athlete with length, toughness, and a quality motor. He was clearly at his best when attacking the basket, Chima is a respectable perimeter shooter and quality decision-maker off the bounce. Stock watcher in the freshman class.

It's easy to see the steady improvement from Liberty. In addition to his game continuing to expand, his body also looks better with each viewing. Liberty moves nicely for his size and utilizes his length well to disrupt opponents defensively. He competes on the glass, positions himself to finish around the basket, and runs the floor effectively in transition. Haynes is a useful defensive anchor with solid timing as a shot-blocker.

A long athletic 6-foot-9 prospect who played, steady, reliable two-way interior piece for this group. He showed the touch and ability to effectively operate from the block, strength, and athleticism to finish around/high above the basket, and the necessary tools to step out and apply pressure as a floor-spacer. Massengo rebounds quite well and understands how to utilize his length to his advantage. He alters and blocks shots on a regular basis, runs the floor hard in transition, and simply maximizes his role on either end of the floor. Massengo has a bright future and would be an asset for various types of scholarship-level programs. To monitor for the next three years.

Moving forward, we look at a player who possesses a ton of appealing tools, Evans is a long, fluid wing/forward prospect with quality athleticism and a blossoming skillset. Evans is an sound passer who can handle the ball, touch the paint, and finish or set up others. Developing jump shooter at his best in transition or attacking the basket. On the other end, Evans consistently contained his assignment and outworked opponents for rebounds. He's skilled enough to push the break and made decisions with the ball in transition. Next in his development process is working on the use of his off-hand, as it would make him a better ball-handler against defensive pressure.
