9p 6r 1a vs Jackson Reed
-Carroll has a fun stable of guards to deploy throughout each game but I expect Jobin to carve out a big role for himself as the Canadian product heads into his senior year. Jobin has a nose for the basketball and understands the pace he needs to play with to beat his opponent to long rebounds or loose balls that will be valuable to his team getting out in transition. A tight handle allows him to navigate well in traffic and he should’ve finished with at least 4 or 5 assists in this one, the ball just didn’t bounce his team’s way in this one. The afore-mentioned nose for the basketball allowed him to secure two putbacks around the basket, find shooters on the perimeter, and generate good looks for his team at the end of shot clocks.

-First season in the area in new threads with Carroll and he always finds a way to provide a steady ball-handling presence off the bench. Jobin sees the floor well and protects the rock while waiting for plays to develop in the halfcourt. Haven’t seen him shoot it a ton from the perimeter but the fluidity and consistency of his follow-through on practice reps and FTs indicate that isn’t an area of weakness. Like the IQ at the defensive end of the floor to stay solid defensively, not gambling to put himself out of position to stay home for steals and good contests.
