Here's a look at part two of the forwards rankings, lookin at some of the best power forwards and centers in the class.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>11) [player_tooltip player_id='1782685' first='Evan' last='Brown'] | 6'7” PF | Bishop Ireton (#32 Overall)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:list {"ordered":true} --> <ol class="wp-block-list"></ol> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brown is part of a talented front court for Ireton that will cause a lot of mismatches in the WCAC this year, and if he can provide some steady production they'll be a dark horse team in the league this year. The 6'8” big man mixes a bit of old and new school together in his game as he's shown a great fall away in post up situations, he can use his strength to finish around the rim and does so with both hands, he's a good offensive rebounder and he's improved his range to be able to stretch the defense consistently.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>6) [player_tooltip player_id='2459212' first='Jamese' last='Jordan'] | 6'9” C | Hopewell (#19 Overall)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":2560961,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"media"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2024/09/tempImageoyg8Hk.jpg"><img src="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2024/09/tempImageoyg8Hk.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-2560961" /></a></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:list {"ordered":true} --> <ol class="wp-block-list"></ol> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jordan has had a great preseason for a Hopewell team that will be a tough out in VHSL Class 3 this year, and if he plays that way during the regular season he'll see his stock sky rocket with college coaches. The 6'9” big man has always been a force with his strength in the post, but he's really improved his body and conditioning to be able to play in longer stretches and run the floor better. He's surprisingly quick for his size with good back to the basket moves, he moves well off the ball and seals hard in the paint and he has great touch and is an explosive and strong finisher around the rim.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
