The highly anticipated new edition of the class of 2026 rankings have finally been released, with over 140 players in the rankings, including over 40 new players to the list!

We'll take a look at positional rankings between guards, wings and big over the next week or so. Here's a look at part two of the forwards rankings, lookin at some of the best power forwards and centers in the class.

11) [player_tooltip player_id='1782685' first='Evan' last='Brown'] | 6'7” PF | Bishop Ireton (#32 Overall)

Brown is part of a talented front court for Ireton that will cause a lot of mismatches in the WCAC this year, and if he can provide some steady production they'll be a dark horse team in the league this year. The 6'7” big man is a versatile defender who can protect the rim and moves his feet well on switches, he pursues the basketball and is a good rebounder on both ends and he has touch around the rim and out to the high post area too.

10) [player_tooltip player_id='2459215' first='Gavin' last='Kay'] | 6'8” PF | Hampton (#29 Overall)

Kay was a big part of Hampton's run to the state championship last season, and while he's still a little bit raw he's done enough to garner attention from division one schools already and could see his stock skyrocket with a good junior season. He has great physical and athletic tools for his size as he has a frame that should fill out well, he's a fluid athlete who can run the floor and play above the rim, he's a solid help side defender and he has a good base skillset that should get better with time.

9) [player_tooltip player_id='1782681' first='Odita' last='Aguolu'] | 6'6” PF | St. Michael (#28 Overall)

Aguolu isn't a true four man as he has great perimeter skills that keeps getting better, but due to the fact he's the tallest and most athletic player on his team he often gets tasked with a lot of the duties of the big man, but that actually plays to their advantage as he creates a lot of mismatches He's dynamic in transition as he can both handle the ball and run the wing, he's a big time athlete who plays above the rim effortlessly, he has improved his outside shooting a lot and he has huge upside on the defensive end too.

8) [player_tooltip player_id='1782692' first='Ripp' last='Kodi'] | 6'6” PF | Bishop Ireton (#26 Overall)

Kodi is another member of that Ireton group I mentioned before, and when watching him this summer it was evident he's one of the most improved players in the DMV over the last few years as his game is rounding out and he's becoming much more consistent. He's a walking mismatch as he can stretch the floor from deep and has good ball skills on the perimeter, he rebounds among bigger post players and he can guard almost any position on the floor.

7) [player_tooltip player_id='1370511' first='Frank' last='Siaca-Bey'] | 6'8” C | Fairfax Christian (#22 Overall)

Siaca-Bey is another player who has impressed with his development from last year to this year, and the two time defending state champ Fairfax Christian group will likely look to play more through him this year. The 6'8” big man mixes a bit of old and new school together in his game as he's shown a great fall away in post up situations, he can use his strength to finish around the rim and does so with both hands, he's a good offensive rebounder and he's improved his range to be able to stretch the defense consistently.

6) [player_tooltip player_id='2459212' first='Jamese' last='Jordan'] | 6'9” C | Hopewell (#19 Overall)

Jordan has had a great preseason for a Hopewell team that will be a tough out in VHSL Class 3 this year, and if he plays that way during the regular season he'll see his stock sky rocket with college coaches. The 6'9” big man has always been a force with his strength in the post, but he's really improved his body and conditioning to be able to play in longer stretches and run the floor better. He's surprisingly quick for his size with good back to the basket moves, he moves well off the ball and seals hard in the paint and he has great touch and is an explosive and strong finisher around the rim.
