Wyatt (Buzzy) Gylten
Wyatt
(Buzzy) Gylten
6'4" | SG
St. Thomas More | 2026
State
SD
(2026) |6'3 G| St. Thomas More - Buzzy proved early last year that he is the real deal but he went down with an injury and missed a good chunk of the year. Wyatt is back and 100% healthy, he looked very good at The Expo and is ready to perform at a high level. Buzzy is a deadly shooter, an above-the-rim-finisher, and you will not find a tougher kid. He also has the potential to be a lockdown defender.
Scariest Dunker
Presley Peraza
Presley
Peraza
6'6" | PF
Kindred | 2025
State
ND
(2025) |6'6 F| Kindred - This Viking is an explosive, bouncy, springy, and powerful dunker. Peraza can jump over, around, or through defenders. He is no stranger to putting people on posters! Presley can throw it down in a variety of ways, he gets to the rim in a hurry and will finish style and/or muscle. Get ready for many rim-rocking SLAMs in Peraza's senior season.
Jhace Woods
Jhace
Woods
6'3" | SF/PF
Sioux Falls Washington | 2026
State
SD
(2026) |6'3 G/F| Sioux Falls Washington - This Warrior is a Division 1 athlete with crazy bounce. Jhace has a 37-inch standing vertical, which is better than many NBA players. You name, he can dunk it, Woods can throw down about any way that you can imagine. He can slam it in your face with power or glide through the air and finish with finesse. Much like Peraza, Woods is a human highlight reel.
Scariest Frosh
These guys made the list because they were impact players on varsity as 8th graders and will be major factors on their squads this winter. They will both be wildy productive & put up splashy numbers.
Blake Bergstrom
Blake
Bergstrom
5'10" | PG
Ray | 2028
State
ND
(2028) |5'8 PG| Ray - 15 ppg, 4 rpb, 5 apg, 2 spg, 3:1 asst/TO ration, 55 eFG%. Pure point guard with all the skills, can score from every level on the court. Bergstrom is a smooth and heady baller. He can take over a game with his shooting, handle the rock with ease, and set up others for good looks. His numbers will be scary this season.
Sullivan Felberg
Sullivan
Felberg
6'8" | SF/PF
Clark/Willow Lake | 2028
State
SD
(2028) |6'6 SF| Clark/Willow Lake - 9 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 1 apg, 41 FG%, 39 3FG%, 63 FT%. Obviously, his length/size is scary! Felberg is a dangerous offensive weapon, a high-percentage shooter, a versatile scorer, and he has an excellent feel for the game. Sully is a headache of a matchup for any team in South Dakota. The Cyclones are happy he is on their squad.
Scariest Paint Protector
Bennett Larson
Bennett
Larson
6'8" | C/PF
Beulah | 2026
State
ND
(2026) |6'7 C| Stanley
He is a bulldog in the paint who is not afraid to do the dirty work. I admire his motor as it never stops and it runs at full tilt whenever he is on the court. If you come in Larson's paint, expect some contact. His long arms and ambitious help-side defense create blocked, tipped, and altered shots. BIG Country is a force to be reckoned with.
Nicholas Hanson
Nicholas
Hanson
6'8" | PF
Viborg-Hurley | 2025
State
SD
(2025) |6'8 PF| Viborg-Hurley
Nick is very long and he moves well. I like his anticipation and timing when blocking shots. He plays aggressively but not recklessly. As a 6'8" player with an expansive wingspan, he changes the game in Class B by just being around the basket. Mr. Hanson changes and alters shots like few can in South Dakota.
Scariest Three-Point Shooter
Parker Jacobson
Parker
Jacobson

Kindred | 2027
State
ND
(2027) |6'5 G| Kindred - He was All-State as a 9th grade and was an integral part of the Vikings run to the State A Championship game. Bakko recently received a D1 basketball offer from UND, which is rare for a sophomore from North Dakota. Brooks has a beautiful pull-up jumper, he keeps growing, and he is extremely athletic. His 2-handed dunks and alley-oop finishes are something special. Expect another All-State performance from Bakko.
Gibson Kinnebrew
Gibson
Kinnebrew
6'4" | SG
Bismarck Century | 2027
State
ND
(2027) |6'3 G| Bismarck Century - Gibby got his feet in AA varsity action last season and had a nice showing. Kinnewbrew had a rockstar off-season with MND1 and proved that he is an elite athlete. He is a better shooter and passer than I realized and I am super intrigued with his potential on defense. Gibby is an electric finisher who is no stranger to throwing down jams and flushing oops.
Brant Wassenaar
Brant
Wassenaar
6'5" | CG
Sioux Falls Christian | 2027
State
SD
(2027) |6'4 G| Sioux Falls Christian - He was a major player for the Chargers as a frosh, he helped get SFC to the State Championship game, it will likely happen again this March. Wassenaar has great size, skill, feel, and he hoops with a playmaking mentality. I am intrigued with his multi-level scoring ability, he will take what the defense gives him and is quick to exploit a mismatch.
Connor Mebius
Connor
Mebius
5'9" | PG
West Central | 2027
State
SD
(2027) |5'8 G| West Central - Put up gaudy numbers as a diaper dandy in Class A with 13.2 ppg, 2 rpg, 2.7 apg, 1.7 spg, 42 FG%, 45 3FG%, 62 3FGM, 79 FT%, 48 FTM. Recently picked up an offer from Dakota Wesleyan. Mebius is a dynamic PG with elite handles and footwork. He is a gym rat and a ready shooter. Connor needs little room to get his shot up and will tear it up this season for the Trojans.

could also step into the starting lineup. The Charges won the State A Championship last season and finished with a 23-3 record. They graduated Tyson Stevenson but basically bring everyone else back. Hamlin will be elite once again and rack up the W's. They are super skilled, well-coached, and I love their execution. Do not be surprised if it's Hamlin and SFC in the Championship once again this March.
