In Nd its impossible to have a top shooters list and not have Parker on it, Parker a senior this season had 92 three pointers last season 🔥 as a junior. Along with hitting 92 three’s Parker averaged 24.2ppg last season, with unlimited range and a quick release he’s as difficult of a cover for opposing teams to defend against as you will find. Reading screens/footwork and being balanced are all strengths of his, gonna have a huge season for Washburn.
-Steph Curry of nd? This kid is an absolute cheat code when it comes to nocking down 3 pointers, he is as prolific and consistent of a shooter from beyond the arc as there has been in quite some time in the state of nd!
-Continues to build on any weaknesses that his game might have, strength wise hes put on 20lbs of muscle over the past few years to help him offensively and also make him a better defender.
-Attacks the basket hard and gets to the foul line for easy points/will finish with either hand
-Soft touch around the basket gets alot of bounces most players dont get
-Much improved handles gives him the ability to put the ball on the ground and go by you to the basket or dish it off to am open teammate
-Very high basketball IQ knows how defenses want to defend him now, let’s the game come to him
As far as I know, one of the top three-point shooters in ND is not playing club bball. However, I expect that Parker is still in the gym working on his craft, playing plenty of hoops, and busting it in the weight room. I suspect that Washburn will be busy in the month of June with team camps and tourneys. I am hoping to cross paths with the Cardinals or maybe I will catch Jacobson at the Who’s Next Combine on the 19th. Last summer, Jacobson impressed me with his handles and passing. His game is evolving and he is much more than just a 3-pointer shooter these days. When you are a high-volume bullseye 3-shooter, college coaches will be interested. It will be interesting to see where Parker ends up for college ball. Whoever gets him, will be landing one of the elite shooters in ND history.
Great junior season, named All-District, All-Region, and All-State, another outrageous season shooting the rock, 24 ppg, 5 rpg, 4.2 apg, 92 made triples at scalding hot 48 3FG%, one of the top three-point shooters in ND history, 315 made 3’s at 48 FG% with a season to go, 1,417 career points
