Ethan starts for the 12-6 Cardinals. He is an experienced varsity player as he got legit burn last year as an 8th grader. Ethan has grown immensely this season. Especially on the offensive side of the ball. Early on he struggled a little with his confidence but once he started believing he belonged on the court he has gotten better each game. Retterath is averaging 9.5 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 2.8 apg, 1.2 spg, and has hit 28 triples at a balmy 47 3FG%! He is tough to deal with when he attacks off the dribble. Retterath is putting up solid numbers but he really makes an impact on the defensive end. Ethan can guard any position on the floor, gives maximum effort, and he is a skilled baller for only being in 9th grade. Washburn is looking like they be a scary team come tournament time, if they make a run, Ethan will certainly play a key role in that.
