Happy Birthday Expo Style

<p>Yesterday was my birthday and what better way to celebrate than with an article highlighting great basketball players here in Michigan! The Expo recently took place, and to a guy like me, being there was like an early birthday present. He definitely didn't disappoint. Walther showed vastly improved athleticism and playmaking all summer, and that was still there. But it was his high basketball IQ and ability to influence the game in the right ways that really stood out at The Expo.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Calhoun put his stamp on this year's Expo with the way that he played. He showed that he has the ability to absolutely catch fire offensively, and when he doesm it's no less than game changing. Calhoun caught fire when I watched him at The Expo and I was so entertained that he brought me out of my seat.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Chelsea graduated some very high level talent, but Bulldog fans can rest easy. They have another backcourt ready to step in and leave their own mark with [player_tooltip player_id='2610286' first='Buck' last='Allen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1890558' first='Beckett' last='Boos']. Allen was terrific at The Expo. His game was light years ahead of last year, and he was good last year as well. Allen had the look of a true lead guard that can fill it up from deep. He's really developed an an overall playmaker.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Grubb is a quickly rising talent that I was looking forward to watching at The Expo. I loved his versatility as a forward. He showed that he can attack outside-in as well as inside-out and can defend from basically any spot on the floor. Grubb is a young man that approaches and plays the game the right way.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Weston was flat out an awesome watch at The Expo. College coaches have to take notice. He's just nasty with the ball in his hands. Weston simply moved defenders with his handles at The Expo. He showed that he could advance the ball through pressure and create opportunities for himself and his teammates.</p>
