Calhoun is a high octane guard that can get buckets. He was in his game at The Expo. He was an athletic shooter and scorer at the event. Calhoun created shots and connected off the catch. He showed the ability to score from all 3 levels. What I really liked seeing was his passing and ball distribution. On multiple occasions I saw Calhoun deliver the ball to cutters in stride.

Calhoun has next level talent and coaches and scouts need to see him play. Calhoun can flat out shoot the ball and score. I’ve seen him catch fire from beyond the arc. When Calhoun starts feeling his jumper, he has DEEP range and can change games.

Calhoun broke out last fall at a Prep Hoops showcase event and he has carried that momentum ever since. He’s a very talented and athletic shooter that can walk into a triple from near the volleyball line. Calhoun’s play this June indicates an exciting high school season is in store.

Calhoun put his game out there this fall and he did nothing but shine. Call me greedy, but I want to see it again. Calhoun proved at showcase events that he can be a game changing knock down shooter. He can get hot from behind the arc and swing the momentum of a game.

Calhoun put his stamp on this year’s Expo with the way that he played. He showed that he has the ability to absolutely catch fire offensively, and when he doesm it’s no less than game changing. Calhoun caught fire when I watched him at The Expo and I was so entertained that he brought me out of my seat.

Calhoun made a big time statement about his game at The Expo. He showed that he can absolutely catch fire and be a complete game changer on the offensive end. Calhoun scored from all 3 levels, from a flip in with touch to an athletic and balanced triple off the bounce. Quite simply, he was an explosive shooter. The best part may have been when he drove and kicked out to an open shooter, passing up a shot for a teammates better one, even when he was heating up.

Calhoun has certainly earned his way into the rankings and is the type of player that has the potential to rise up the list. He’s a naturally aggressive player offensively that always looks to make a play or make something happen. Calhoun showed deep range on his jumper at the David Barns Showcase.
