for going on this run and making me look smarter than I truly am. I’ve been preaching about how good and how talented Weston is for a while now. He more than backed me up. He played an efficient game finishing with 11 points on 4-6 shooting from the field.

for a couple years now. Well, here he is. Weston is a highlight reel with the ball in his hands. He’s fast with the ball and at his best when he’s in attack mode. Weston has the ability to create looks for himself and to touch the paint and find teammates.

is a player that deserves way more publicity. This young man can flat out play. He showed up to the Prep Hoops Michigan Expo and put on a show. I think Weston is one of the better pure ball handlers and passers that the state of Michigan has to offer.

Deuce Weston should be considered a must see player. He’s under recruited and will be a steal at the next level. Weston showed up at the PH Expo in Michigan, one of the most renowned showcase events in the midwest with well over 100 players in attendance, and he was easily one of the best and most dynamic ball handlers and playmakers.

Weston was flat out an awesome watch at The Expo. College coaches have to take notice. He’s just nasty with the ball in his hands. Weston simply moved defenders with his handles at The Expo. He showed that he could advance the ball through pressure and create opportunities for himself and his teammates.

Weston was turning heads throughout the event. Easily one of, if not the best, ball handlers in the gym on Saturday. He had tricky handles that helped him put defenders on his hip all day. Weston had numerous right handed drives and finishes. Even if the defender knew it was coming, they couldn’t stay in front of him. He finished through contact at least 3 times that I saw.

from Flint Carman-Ainsworth. Deuce has a quick first step to go along with a unique ability to change directions effortlessly and gets past defenders on a regular basis. He can shoot off the catch, but Carman-Ainsworth guard is at his best driving north to south and attacking the basket. His fast-feet made him a threat playing on-ball defense, consistently keeping his man between himself and the basket as well as generating a few steals. Weston will be in the discussion for All-Saginaw Valley League and is poised to have a huge senior season.

Weston is the type of player where the number next to his name doesn’t do justice to his game. He features quickness and explosiveness off the bounce. Weston uses his skills with the ball to create for himself and his teammates. He would be a must see player in Grand Rapids.

Weston reminds me of that slippery ice that will jump up and grab you the second you think you’re good and have it under control. Just then, Weston will put the ball on the floor and go to work. If you turn your back getting back on defense, he’ll beat you down the floor, slip you up, and score.
