Armoni looks like someone we could see stepping into a bigger role this winter for Washburn. He's a point guard who makes plays on both ends of the floor, and impressed against Prior Lake on Sunday afternoon. He's a quick and tenacious defender who pressures the ball hard and is able to force mistakes out of opposing guards. On the offensive end he was at his best getting into the lane and setting up his teammates or making plays as a finisher.

Camare is such a difficult matchup because he has a rare combination of size, strength, and handle. He can beat bigger wings off the dribble with his change of speed, or just bulldoze his way to the basket against guards. Once at the rim he has the touch to finish in traffic with either hand. Has some wiggle on the perimeter as well to create separation and get into his mid-range jumper. I liked his effort on the glass, able to pull in a board and then push the ball ahead to get his team out in transition. Helped lead his team to a win over Rochester Mayo in the game I watched.

[player_tooltip player_id='2493846' first='Luke' last='Hill'] looks set to take a step forward for Waconia this season. At 6'4-6'5 he has some size and length, with the mobility at his size to play in the paint or as a big wing. I liked his effort to compete on the glass, finding guys to box out and high pointing the ball off the rim. His length and effort helped lead to a few more possessions for his team in the game I watched. Showed the comfort to step out and hit the open three as well.

Kyle looks like he could be a bit of a Swiss army knife for Edina this season. He has size and strength at 6'6, which could allow him to play the 4 if needed, but seems to be at his best handling the ball or playing out on the wing. Sees the floor well, can handle it under pressure, and has versatility on the defensive end with his frame. Hits the open three and his core strength allows him to stay balanced and finish through contact inside. Had a productive showing in Edina's win over Lakeville South.

Trey is one of the most fundamentally sound forwards in the state regardless of class. He simply plays hard and plays smart, and it allows him to produce in a number of ways. Trey always seems to be in the right place at the right time, finding himself in great spots to pull in offensive boards or receive a dump off pass leading to a high percentage look at the rim. Even if he's not getting touches, Trey is going to go out and set hard screens to free up his guards, hustle to defend screens, and always find a body to box out as soon as a shot goes up.

Collin was one of the best passers I saw on Sunday. He sees the floor well from the perimeter, and off the dribble when he's getting into the lane. Consistently locates cutting teammates or shooters, and is able to deliver passes on the move from difficult angles with accuracy. Lakeville South lost a talented 2024 class, but Collin is one of a handful of talented guards ready to step into the rotation.

Cooper plays with the type of pace that make things look effortless at times. He'll just lull a defender to sleep out on the perimeter, and as soon as a gap appears he explodes to the rim and can get there off just one or two dribbles. Good body control to finish in traffic at a high percentage. There aren't many ways that Cooper doesn't score the ball, and what's impressive is the efficiency he does it in. Looks set for a big senior season in the Minneapolis City Conference.
