Staton held his own personal block party against Bishop O'Connell. The 7'0 center was swatting every shot that came near the basket and he finished with 10 blocks total. Staton also put up 10 points and 8 rebounds, making him just 2 rebounds short of a triple double. It was an entertaining performance and he proved why he's one of the best rim protectors in the country.

Yapi turned it on against Bishop O'Connell and almost carried his team to a win. The uncommitted senior was very assertive on offense, and connected on a number of 3-pointers and jumpers. His passing ability was also on display, and he found his teammates for a few nice assists. If colleges are looking for a high IQ point guard who can score and pass, look no further.

[player_tooltip player_id='2374347' first='Aaron' last='McMorran II'] had another couple of solid performances on Saturday. In his game against American Fork, he started off hot and scored 8 of Desert Pines 11 first points. Although catching and shooting is his specialty, he was also was moving off ball a lot. One of his best plays of the day was a reverse lay-up that came off a cut. McMorran then poured in 19 points against Trinity Prep in his second game. His ability to hunt shots, despite being keyed on is elite. I was also impressed by his stellar defense against both American Fork Trinity Prep. He made his opponents really work to get the ball and he collected some blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='986971' first='Prince' last='Davis'] played well in both of the games that I watched him play on Saturday. He did a great job utilizing his speed and deceleration skills to create space from his defender on offense. I also oted that when he gets downhill with the ball, he is difficult to stop. His most impressive plays of the day were some very tough step back jumpers and 3-pointers that he knocked down.

Lucius Fox was in the zone against Desert Pines on Saturday afternoon. The Trinity Prep power forward hit triple after triple and got to the basket often off of drives. Fox also helped Trinity Prep secure the win with a game saving block in the closing seconds of the game. His athleticism for his size is elite and he definitely looks ready to play college ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1490283' first='Amare' last='Oba'] went to work against Temecula Valley and put up 23 points and 11 rebounds. In his second game of the day, he put up 16 points and 5 rebounds. His ability to score from just about anywhere on the court makes him very dangerous. When guys over play him, he does a great job drawing fouls and getting to the line. Oba has also has had a great weekend on defense. You can tell that he knows how to anticipate what's about to happen. He had a number of blocks and steals in both games.
