The Desert Pines point guard has officially committed to Feather River College. He brings speed, ball-handling, and can change direction in the blink of an eye. On defense, he has some lateral quickness to him. Hopefully he keeps improving and helps the Golden eagles grab some wins.

played one his better games this season on Tuesday against Coronado. He seemed to take things up a notch on defense and made it a very long game for the Coronado guards. Then late in the fourth quarter, he came alive for Desert Pines on offense and scored a few tough buckets to make it a one score game. Unfortunately he and the Jaguars came up just short.

dropped 19 points and had 5 assists on Wednesday. He had some nice bursts of acceleration, which helped him score some easy lay-ups. Davis also made three 3-pointers and got to the free throw line a couple of times. In addition to his offensive play, I noticed him snag 3 steals over the course of the game.

played well in both of the games that I watched him play on Saturday. He did a great job utilizing his speed and deceleration skills to create space from his defender on offense. I also oted that when he gets downhill with the ball, he is difficult to stop. His most impressive plays of the day were some very tough step back jumpers and 3-pointers that he knocked down.

Davis is as accurate in the classroom as he is on the court. The PG is one of the best Floor Spacers with wiggle that we have. He does all that while managing a 4.0 GPA in the classroom.

Davis was feeling it this week. The PG proved why he’s one of the best floor spacing PG’s in the state. He was lethal from range, knocking down multiple threes in every game including a 5 three point contest against Thousand Oaks.

There’s a couple of categories that Davis is underrated in, including shooting. Section 7 will provide the perfect opportunity for him to showcase that skill. One of the state’s top snipers has the ability to get hot and rack up consecutive threes. Doing it on this stage will go a long way in shedding that sleeper status.

Thought Davis showed a new dimension to his game in his ability to create shots with the ball in his hands. He showed more wiggle, and 1 v 1 ability, while remaining a reliable three point threat.

Davis will be one of the top 2025’s at the camp. The PG has developed into an all around player, but can still splash from deep. The sharpshooter looks to have a big performance in front of the coaches.
