is now in the #17 slot. He’s starter for the Desert Pines Jaguars at Power Forward this season, and he’s been taking things up a notch with his defense. I first noticed him using his size and frame more against Bishop Manogue, and he also looked more physical against Clark earlier this week. If he can continue to lock in and stay out of foul trouble, he’ll likely give even more opposing forwards problems.

has a 76 inch wingspan (almost 6’4). And he was 6’5 when we took his height without shoes. Although his wingspan isn’t incredibly long relative to some of other forwards above. It is still still pretty solid and it helps that he has filled out has frame a bit recently.

has the frame and size needed to play against some of the bigger interior players in 5A this season. He also sets picks and scores when he utilizes his spin moves or goes right up with it. As he can get his shot off over most defenders.
I also liked how he did in the Border League against Bishop Manogue. He was competing hard against their bigs on the inside on both offense and defense.

is playing for the LV Knicks 16U squad. He can score by using some crafty footwork or he can go right up with it and finish. As a defender, Stewart looks to clog up the paint and he can force his opponents to take tough shots. Stewart also stands at 6’6 and has a good build for a power forward.

has made some improvements over the last few months. On offense, I’ve seen him get better at using his size to set up his shots. He’s also been grabbing a couple of offensive rebounds per game this season. On defense, he’s been playing more a bit more physical.

was also featured in a couple of my Border League Standouts articles. He has shown great chemistry with his Desert Pines teammates in the preseason. If he can continue to progress on offense, he may be on his way to averaging 10 PPG this season .

Stewart had a heck of a weekend. He looked confident out there and like he was to starting to come into his own. On defense, he didn’t back down and he disrupted a lot of shots. On offense, he was going after rebounds and made some fantastic plays around the rim. I think he’s ready for a great Varsity season if he can keep playing the way he has been.

was locked in for his first ever Border League game. The 6’8 forward played superb defense throughout the game, and wisely leveraged his length and frame to keep his opponents from scoring. Stewart’s play also caught my eye on the offensive end. He made some tough shots around the rim and got to the free throw line as well.
