Amari Hinds Amari Hinds 6'1" | SG Las Vegas | 2027 State NV scored in a variety of ways for the Las Vegas Wildcats on Saturday. He was splashing in 3’s from the corner and wings. While also getting to the hoop off slashes and he had a few buckets by leaking out in transition. Including a one handed punch that gave his team some momentum. On the other end of the court, he stayed locked in and made his matchup’s life extremely difficult . It was a solid all around showing from the 2027 SG.

Amari Hinds Amari Hinds 6'1" | SG Las Vegas | 2027 State NV has climbed up #14 in the latest rankings update. He is a real problem for opposing teams from beyond the arc and stays in “hunt” mode. He’s also one to draw fouls and will likely get to the charity stripe even more often in the future as he gets stronger. In addition to scoring, Hinds can give his matchup issues by staying active with his hands and length on defense. Given his size and skill, the upside is clearly there.

His consistent release has a lot to do with it, and he finished the game with 5 triples in all. Including one that game in the final minute to make it a one point game. Hinds also got after it on the defensive end and was applying good ball pressure. He finished with 19 points.

He knocked down multiple catch and shoot threes, finished effectively around the rim, and also converted from the free-throw line. In addition to his scoring, Hines displayed good court vision, dishing out several assists that led directly to easy baskets for his teammates. Overall, it was a strong performance from the junior, who now turns his focus to the Wildcats’ upcoming matchup against Somerset.

Including back to back triples in the 3rd quarter which gave Las Vegas the lead and the momentum. Then in 4th quarter he drained another (his 5th 3 of the night) and helped get the Wildcats in front. Overall, it was a very impressive shooting performance from the junior.

Constantly moving off the ball, he found open looks in the corner and dropped in two 3-pointers. He also attacked the paint aggressively to score. On the other end of the court, he stayed locked in and limited his man’s opportunities.

Amari Hinds Amari Hinds 6'1" | SG Las Vegas | 2027 State NV made an impact in multiple ways for Las Vegas. He battled for rebounds, defended with intensity, and stayed active on the offensive end. Knocking down corner threes and attacking the rim with confidence. Even though the Wildcats didn’t come out on top, he competed until the very end.

He leverages his acceleration skills to get to the cup on offense and can hit 3’s. Hinds also uses his quickness on defense to stifle opponents.

He utilizes his speed to pick off passes on defense, and he can also push transition once he secures the ball. On offense, Hinds looks to get downhill if he can and he can finish tough shots. His assertive play also helps earn him trips to the free throw line.

Amari Hinds Amari Hinds 6'1" | SG Las Vegas | 2027 State NV is up 32 spots in the new rankings. The Wildcats guard has some handles, which allows him to get to his spots. I’m also a fan of his space and how he decelerates at times to create separation. As a defender, Hinds marks his man well and battles for rebounds.
