I recently wrote about the Las Vegas Wildcats CG Amari Hinds Amari Hinds 6'1" | SG Las Vegas | 2027 State NV in my 4A Lake League article, and in my opinion, he could certainly be one of the next seniors to receive an offer. He is one of the best shooters in his class here in Nevada, and his confidence has also become one of his top attributes. He is almost always hunting a quality look, and he’s recently become more of a threat off the dribble. I also like the pride he plays with on defense, as he’s willing to guard whoever is in front of him. Considering his talent and size, it may not be long before a college or two takes notice.

Amari Hinds Amari Hinds 6'1" | SG Las Vegas | 2027 State NV is a lengthy two guard who finishes strong at the basket and has the ability to knock down shots in bunches, heating up in a hurry once he gets going. That same length shows up on the defensive end, where he uses it to his advantage, walling up on opposing drive attempts and making life difficult for ball-handlers trying to get to the rim.

Amari Hinds Amari Hinds 6'1" | SG Las Vegas | 2027 State NV is up to No. 12 in the 2027 rankings after previously being ranked No. 14. He has continued to impress over the last few months, playing at a high level in both summer league and at the Nevada Live Invitational. He is tough to slow down once he gets going offensively, and he’s capable of burying five or more triples. As evidenced by his 30-point performances against Centennial (in which he knocked down seven three-pointers. Hinds also plays with hunger on the defensive end, getting into his opponent’s grill and causing turnovers. If he keeps this level of play up, don’t be surprised if his stock rises even more.

Amari Hinds Amari Hinds 6'1" | SG Las Vegas | 2027 State NV scored in a variety of ways for the Las Vegas Wildcats on Saturday. He was splashing in 3’s from the corner and wings. While also getting to the hoop off slashes and he had a few buckets by leaking out in transition. Including a one handed punch that gave his team some momentum. On the other end of the court, he stayed locked in and made his matchup’s life extremely difficult . It was a solid all around showing from the 2027 SG.

Amari Hinds Amari Hinds 6'1" | SG Las Vegas | 2027 State NV has climbed up #14 in the latest rankings update. He is a real problem for opposing teams from beyond the arc and stays in “hunt” mode. He’s also one to draw fouls and will likely get to the charity stripe even more often in the future as he gets stronger. In addition to scoring, Hinds can give his matchup issues by staying active with his hands and length on defense. Given his size and skill, the upside is clearly there.

His consistent release has a lot to do with it, and he finished the game with 5 triples in all. Including one that game in the final minute to make it a one point game. Hinds also got after it on the defensive end and was applying good ball pressure. He finished with 19 points.

Amari Hinds Amari Hinds 6'1" | SG Las Vegas | 2027 State NV led the Wildcats in scoring last night with 20 points, showing his ability to score in a variety of ways. He knocked down multiple catch and shoot threes, finished effectively around the rim, and also converted from the free-throw line. In addition to his scoring, Hines displayed good court vision, dishing out several assists that led directly to easy baskets for his teammates. Overall, it was a strong performance from the junior, who now turns his focus to the Wildcats’ upcoming matchup against Somerset.

Amari Hinds Amari Hinds 6'1" | SG Las Vegas | 2027 State NV was on fire from 3 point in the Wildcats victory over the Lions. He consistently found space in the corner and buried one after another. Including back to back triples in the 3rd quarter which gave Las Vegas the lead and the momentum. Then in 4th quarter he drained another (his 5th 3 of the night) and helped get the Wildcats in front. Overall, it was a very impressive shooting performance from the junior.

Constantly moving off the ball, he found open looks in the corner and dropped in two 3-pointers. He also attacked the paint aggressively to score. On the other end of the court, he stayed locked in and limited his man’s opportunities.

Amari Hinds Amari Hinds 6'1" | SG Las Vegas | 2027 State NV made an impact in multiple ways for Las Vegas. He battled for rebounds, defended with intensity, and stayed active on the offensive end. Knocking down corner threes and attacking the rim with confidence. Even though the Wildcats didn’t come out on top, he competed until the very end.
