<p>The Border League brought in over 200 teams and 64 of the top 125 players in the country played in it over the weekend. There were a ton of entertaining games, and some guys proved that they deserve to be playing college. I spent most of my time watching the games that were taking place at Coronado High School and Desert Pines. These players are my top shooters that I watched play in The Border League tournament.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Ikenna has a great looking shot and may be one of the most talented 2026 guards there is. His 3 point shooting ability makes defenders have to play him further out than they would like, and Ikenna makes them pay by driving right by them thanks to his explosive first step. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Chris Paul II has a very smooth shooting stroke. The freshman hit four 3's against Democracy Prep and it didn't take him many dribbles to get his shots off. He also hit a floater that impressed me. You can tell that he has a high IQ and knows where to be in order to make plays and shots. Paul II finished with 18 points against Democracy Prep</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Utah Prep's knock down shooter really helps them space the floor and keep the defense honest. I was impressed by his shooting form and calmness on the court. Right now, he has offers from Washington, Utah Valley, USF, and SUU.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Diabe Bathily is a very intriguing college prospect. His 3-point shooting is elite and he can shoot over most defenders. He displayed some athleticism as well, when he beat his guy and drove through the lane for a big dunk. The other thing I noted, was that he's a quality rebounder.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Connor Sheets knocked down four 3's in his game against Mira Costa. He has a very quick catch and release. I also noted that he was consistently moving off ball, not making it easy for his defenders to keep up with him. The 2025 guard is uncommitted right now, but has a number of offers.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Roberts brought his A game against Utah Prep and couldn't miss. He looked confident in his shot and finished with 13 points. Then against Dream City Christian, he hit another couple of 3's. I also liked that he made some plays on defense against both Utah Prep and Dream City Christian. His stock is on the rise. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Basson had a really good game against Sierra Vista. On the offensive end, he displayed a pure shooting stroke and connected on some long range shots. On defense, he had a big block that gave RCA some momentum. Basson also crashed the boards in the final minute of the game and gave RCA a 1 point advantage after he scored off a put back. Yeison Liberato went on to hit the game winner after Sierra Vista went back up.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Felesi was one of my favorite players to watch over the weekend. The effort and energy that he brings to his Utah Prep squad is incredibly impactful. He also has a good looking shot and made a number of 3's and jumpers. I expect more schools to be in on him very soon.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2374347' first='Aaron' last='McMorran II'] appeared comfortable playing against some of the top high school players in the country. He scored from all three levels throughout the weekend and he displayed some great passing skills as well. His top offensive outputs were 19 points against Trinity Prep and 16 points against Edge Prep. McMorran finished the weekend as Desert Pines leading scorer. Averaging 13.5 points, and he also averaged 4.1 rebounds, and 2 steals a game.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Lucius Fox has been on my radar for month or so now, and I've seen very consistent play from him. He knows how to play off his point guard to get shots, but also has the ability to create shots for himself due to his high level athleticism. His shot is also almost impossible to block because of his high release point. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Cooper was very consistent in his play over the weekend at The Border League tournament. Before this last month, I knew Cooper could score. But recently he has shown that he is an accurate shooter as well and connects on a good amount of his 3 point attempts. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Mason's craftiness and athleticism allow him to get to his spots with ease. Then once he gets to his spot, he has a quick release and textbook shooting form. Mason isn't just a shooter though, he can make some plays on defense. His length allows him to play passing lanes and it also intimidates his opponents when they are considering to shoot. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">I'm a big fan of Wooten's game. He is an absolute sniper from behind the 3 point line, and defenders have a tough time staying him. Wooten can also knock down jumpers and can dunk. Making him quite the offensive weapon. He had 26 points in his game against Air Nado.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Miles Sadler was on fire against Mater Dei. He is very consistent with his shooting stroke and his mechanics look just about perfect. Sadler is already on a few schools radars, including: Iowa, Cal, Mississippi St, and others. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Buries is a tough bucket getter and can rack up points in a hurry. He dropped 36 points in his game against the Florida Rebels, and he buried 3 after 3. Some of my favorite plays of his were his step-back shots and a huge dunk.</p>
