Fresh off a decomittment from Cincinnati after the announced dismissal of coach Wes Miller, Allen put on a show in a blowout win over Wheeler while showcasing himself as one of the nation's top available scoring guards. Allen poured in 33 points in an efficient 13-for-20 shooting performance. Known typically for his perimeter shooting and smooth midrange pullup game, the Georgia native knocked down only a single 3, instead showing a persistent nose for the rim both attacking closeouts off the bounce and cutting downhill off his teammates' penetration. He finished with consistent touch in traffic and was smooth in the floor game on both ends as well. There aren't many more polished bucket-getters in the high school ranks.

Wrapping up what's been a somewhat up-and-down junior season for the nationally-regarded forward, Kamissoko played as well as he arguably ever has in a 32-minute showcase of his dynamic two-way ability. The Swiss-army forward played with aggression and an infectious spirit from the opening tip, spearheading a blowout win with an efficient 24-point triple-double. Kamissoko was at his best in transition, using his length to make plays on D and get out in the open floor, where he could display his smooth ball skills, advanced passing vision, and improved finishing ability. He knocked down a smooth corner 3, was effective using his length to clean the glass, and also showed his instincts as a cutter from an off-ball role in the halfcourt. It was a welcome reminder as to why the New York product has been ranked as high as the top-5 in his class across the country.

Coming in as one of the headliners of the event, Daughtry backed up his status while getting the day started with a prolific effort as the Eagles pulled away in the fourth for a comfortable win. The highly-touted junior guard was consistent throughout the game, pouring in 31 points and 5 assists while playing largely mistake-free basketball and picking his spots with poise and maturity. Despite a slender frame, Daughtry was at his best attacking the rim, showing a quick first step with polished footwork in the lane, advanced touch as a finisher, and burgeoning athleticism to take off in space. He was consistently able to make his teammates better, spoonfeeding open looks with timely passes after attracting extra defensive attention. Daughtry also flashed his shotmaking touch, converting 12 of his 14 free throw attempts despite going just 1-for-6 from beyond the arc. He left little doubt as to why he's regarded among the top junior guards in the country.

Fresh off a state championship victory, Gordon seized the opportunity presented by Plainfield's late addition to the field, leading the Cardinals to a nailbiting win in front of a standing-room-only crowd in a pseudo-TOC matchup with fellow NJ state champ Bergen Catholic. Just as he did in the state title game, Gordon expertly picked his spots throughout the game, letting things come to him while setting up his teammates before stepping up in the second half with a series of timely buckets. Despite struggling from the perimeter, Gordon finished with 23 points and 5 assists, getting to his spots off the bounce with his pristine skill level, blowby speed, and deceptive strength. He set his teammates up for countless open looks from the perimeter and took consistent care of the basketball while facing nonstop defensive attention with the ball in his hands for the vast majority of the game. It was yet another legacy-defining performance for Gordon who continues to etch his name further into the state's history books.

The top underclassman performer of the day, Fisher put on a consistently impressive display on his way to 18 points and nine boards in Columbus' commanding upset win over Sunnyslope (AZ). A powerful two-way wing, the Canadian product was effective and efficient from an off-ball role. He consistent in flowing to open space in the halfcourt, showing a smooth shooting stroke off the catch and attacking advantages as a slasher with an advanced blend of skill and physicality. Fisher played all 32 minutes while showing poise and controlled aggression on both ends of the floor. He's continuing to blossom into a likely high-major prospect who should draw considerable attention heading into his upcoming AAU and FIBA campaigns.
