<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It is easy to take a look at the statistics and get excited about some of the top returning scorers in the state of Indiana. Guys like [player_tooltip player_id='1747066' first='Josiah' last='Ball'] (Maconaquah H.S. 2025 - Bethel University commit, 30.3 ppg), [player_tooltip player_id='1297068' first='Julius' last='Gizzi'] (New Palestine H.S. 2025 - Indiana Wesleyan University commit, 28.9 ppg), and [player_tooltip player_id='1296984' first='Braylon' last='Mullins'] (Greenfield-Central H.S. 2025 - Undecided, 25.0 ppg) will all battle it out for the Indiana High School Basketball scoring title this year. However, here at Prep Hoops Indiana, we want to dive a little deeper. Who are among the names that those around the state maybe don't know as well yet that could blossom into a top scoring threat this season? Are there players out there who could possibly compete with the three high-profile returners highlighted above? Let's take a look at 10 under-the-radar scorers heading into the 2024-2025 Indiana High School Basketball season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:table --> <figure class="wp-block-table"><table class="has-fixed-layout"><tbody><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1299745' first='Camden' last='Craig']</td><td>6'4" Small Forward</td><td>Switzerland County H.S. 2025</td><td>25.2 points per game - Craig finished fourth in scoring among those who report to MaxPreps last season. He is his team's go-to scorer and will have some huge numbers in southern Indiana.</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1296996' first='Carter' last='Kent']</td><td>6'0" Point Guard</td><td>Jennings County H.S. 2025</td><td>24.8 points per game - He is overqualified to truly be "under-the-radar," but if anyone were to compete for the scoring title aside from the three listed above it would be Kent. One of the best shooters in the state with unlimited range and the ultimate green light.</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1297013' first='Deion' last='Edwards']</td><td>6'5" Small Forward</td><td>Springs Valley H.S. 2025</td><td>22.4 points per game - When you break a scoring record set by Larry Bird you are bound to turn some heads. That is what Edwards did last season when he put up 56 points in a 101-98 win over Austin.</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='2398991' first='Tyrese' last='Jones']</td><td>5'11" Point Guard</td><td>South Bend Riley H.S. 2026</td><td>21.3 points per game - Jones will take over the reigns at South Bend Riley after South Bend Clay closed their doors. He is a dynamic playmaking guard that had a great summer.</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='2245722' first='Colton' last='Lindsay']</td><td>5'11" Point Guard</td><td>Eastern H.S. 2026</td><td>20.4 points per game - An excellent shot-maker with an aggressive style of play, look for Lindsay to take yet another leap in the scoring column this winter. </td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1539480' first='Collin' last='Czarnecki']</td><td>6'3" Shooting Guard</td><td>LaVille H.S. 2025</td><td>19.6 points per game - A highly sought after small college prospect, Czarnecki made 61 three-point shots last season and could become one of the top shooters in the state this year.</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1561002' first='Jarvis' last='Tolbert Jr']</td><td>6'3" Shooting Guard</td><td>South Bend Adams H.S. 2026</td><td>18.8 points per game - Fresh off a strong summer on the UA Rise Circuit, Tolbert Jr. has the physicality and athleticism to be a real matchup problem in the backcourt. He will once again be the go-to scoring threat at South Bend Adams.</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1561022' first='Brayden' last='Goff']</td><td>6'0" Point Guard</td><td>Northview H.S. 2026</td><td>17.8 points per game - Goff is a do-it-all guard at Northview and brings much more than just scoring to the table, but don't be surprised to see another uptick this season. He always finds a way to put up impressive numbers.</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='2053659' first='Malachi' last='King']</td><td>6'4" Small Forward</td><td>Harrison (West Lafayette H.S. 2025</td><td>17.6 points per game - King has become one of the most highly sought after small college prospects in the state. His physicality and versatility will allow him to be one of the top scorers in the Lafayette area.</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1560961' first='Grady' last='Gardner']</td><td>6'2" Shooting Guard</td><td>Martinsville H.S. 2026</td><td>16.5 points per game - One of the best pure shooters in the state, Gardner consistently put up big numbers throughout the summer.</td></tr></tbody></table></figure> <!-- /wp:table -->
