Kyler Staley | Prep Hoops Scout
- Offers: None listed
- Player Traits: high levels of production, tough, very versatile as a power forward, can knockdown the three ball, consistent around rim.
- My Quick Thoughts: King is arguably the best power forward in the in-state 2025 class that does not have a public offer to his name. Coming off a strong AAU season, the college interest from King should be ramping up very soon.

King is a highly productive scorer and rebounder for Harrison (West Lafayette) and that certainly translated against the competition at Purdue on Thursday. He is very strong and physical at 6’4″ with impressive length which allows him to be high percentage around the basket against bigger defenders. When he drives or cuts into the paint there is a good chance two points are coming. King’s overall versatility is what has garnered the attention of many of the top small college programs in the area as he will be highly sought after over the next few months.

He backed it up with a 30-point, 10-rebound performance in a 62-61 win over rival Lafayette Jefferson. The 6’4″ junior forward is averaging over 20 points per game while showcasing a versatile offensive game. On Saturday the Raiders will travel north to take on undefeated Lake Central followed by a matchup with North Central Conference rival Kokomo in a couple of games that could gain King some recognition.
