Toledo Top 64: Mike’s 2027/28 Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Toledo Top 64 brought out 64 talented players from northwest Ohio to compete in front of over two dozen college coaches. While the college coaches were focusing on the seniors in attendance, it was good for the underclassmen to be able to play against the older kids and get some early exposure. I left most impressed with Creager's frame and perimeter shooting ability but am curious to see what he looks like at the high school level with the ball in his hands more. I also thought he didn't play scared as he drew a handful of fouls with his aggressiveness on the court. A very naturally talented player, Bertke worked to find a balance of playing on and off the ball when he was on the court. Also a dangerous 3-point shooter, Bertke knocked down a couple spot-up triples from the corner. Chenault was more productive than I've seen him before with a couple eye-popping flash plays. Able to grab and go off defensive rebounds and push in transition, Chenault moves at a different tempo and burst than a lot of other guys on the court. I really like the way Johnson moves in transition with his explosive athleticism. One of the few 2028 prospects invited to the event, Williams held his own against older competition. A player I was already familiar with because he attended our Prep Hoops Freshman Showcase, Williams continued to perform well on Sunday and projects as one of the top point guards in northwest Ohio's 2028 class already.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
