Nobody does content and event coverage like Prep Hoops. That is never more true than doing our annual series of fall showcase events. This past Sunday, we hosted our annual Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase which is the single best event we put on each year. Over 150 of the states best freshmen descended upon Fishers High School to play in front of our scouting staff as well as many area high school and grassroots coaches. Throughout the week, we will be pumping evaluations on every single kid that attended this event. For this one, we look at the players that made up Team 6.

***As you can imagine, trying to cover 150+ prospects in a single event is a very daunting task. Also, there always end up being a couple of jersey number discrepancies, so if you attended the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase and DID NOT receive an evaluation, please reach out to Brandon Ramsey via email coachbrandonramsey@gmail.com or on Twitter @BRamseyKSR.***

Blakely was one of several prospects from Tri-West High School that attended our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. New head coach Tommy Strine will have some young talent to work with over the next few seasons. Blakely was very quick with the ball in his hands and was able to get to the basket where he was a creative finisher. The 5'7" point guard wasn't afraid to go at bigger defenders in the paint.

This Castle High School wing had impressive size and physical attributes on the perimeter. Despite displaying guard-like skill, Morgan was most effective around the basket finish a putback after crashing the offensive glass during 5-on-5 play and consistently making an impact inside. His strength was tough for other guards to handle when he would get into the paint.

Sanders is a talented guard from Vincennes Lincoln High School that really impressed athletically throughout the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. Those physical and athletic tools allowed him to contribute to rebounding efforts from the perimeter and made him effective as a slasher and right hand driver. He can be very effective attacking closeouts or in transition. There is a lot of upside to his game as he will definitely be a name to rebounder in the years to come.

A 5'10" guard from Bishop Chatard High School, this prospect fit into both 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 play seamlessly due to his movement off of the ball and all-around basketball IQ. Ramusack proved to be a great cutter who was actively trying to get open and working off of screening action consistently. When he had the ball he displayed good ball handling ability and a smooth shooting stroke.

Being able to bring prospects down from The Region and pair them with and against players from Evansville, New Albany, and elsewhere is part of what makes the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase special. Boomsma was one of several prospects to make the trip down from Crown Point High School and the 6'2" really impressed with his size and physical tools. He was able to bully smaller defenders around the basket while his skill level and quickness gave him an advantage on the perimeter against bigger defenders. Well-rounded young prospect.

Durham was one of the many prospects in the gym from Ben Davis High School and yet another talented option for the Giants down the road as they consistently cycle through classes of great players. The 6'2" left-handed wing really impressed with his length and athleticism both in transition and when slashing to the basket in the half court. He was able to have success anytime he could get downhill to his left hand.

The physical tools and well-rounded skill set that Bode possesses at such a young age makes you really excited about what he can become. However, while the future upside is exciting, that shouldn't take away from what he is already capable of on the floor. Bode has the size to really dominate around the basket while his skill and fluid athleticism makes it difficult for like-sized defenders to matchup out on the perimeter. He is definitely an exciting prospect for Hamilton Southeastern.

You would have a really hard time finding a more physically impressive prospect at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase than this 6'6" forward from Franklin Central High School. Troutman is also a standout on the gridiron with a ton of upside in both football and basketball. His physicality around the rim is unmatched as he can dominate the glass, finish through contact, and plays with a solid motor. As his skill level continues to develop his game will start to really take off.

Nash was a prospect that we had a little bit of prior knowledge of as he played varsity rotation minutes for Kokomo during the Charlie Hughes Showcase in June. The 6'3" wing certainly has the physical and athletic tools to translate to the varsity level right away as a freshman. At our event, he impressed with his ability to create his own shot off of the dribble from the perimeter. He has the size and physicality of a 3-4 man, but definitely operates like a guard.
