1.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1765536' first='Cooper' last='Porter'] (Senior) -- 46/92 (50.0%)

Porter wasn't a big-time scorer as a sophomore, averaging 6.8 points per game, but when he decided to let it fly, especially from distance, odds were 50-50 that the shot was going to drop, pretty darn good. He has a lightning-quick release both off the dribble and the catch and he gets great rotation on his jumper.

2.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2309944' first='Josiah' last='Harrington'] (North Scott) -- 46/99 (46.5%)

Already holding offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Illinois, and Northern Illinois, Harrington is likely the next nationally ranked prospect to come out of the Hawkeye State. A silky smooth 6-5/6-6 wing with a picturesque stroke from 3-point range, he makes everything on the hardwood look easy. He averaged 13.3 points per game on 55-47-72 shooting splits as a freshman.

3.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1381412' first='Davis' last='Kern'] (Linn-Mar) -- 38/85 (44.7%)

Kern's ability to step out and stretch the floor at 6-8/6-9 is part of what made him so valued as a collegiate prospect. He has a feathery stroke with a high release on his jumper, nearly impossible to contest, and he shoots it at an equally high clip off both the dribble and the catch.

4.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1381423' first='Jordan' last='Townsend'] (Cedar Falls) -- 29/66 (43.9%)

Townsend came off the bench to provide Cedar Falls with a bit of a scoring spark, averaging over one made 3-pointer per game. He's a talented shooting threat who moves well without the ball in his hands and has a really quick release off the catch.

5.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1951786' first='Ben' last='Kerkhoff'] (Bettendorf) -- 60/137 (43.8%)

A long, lanky lefty sharpshooter, Kerkhoff was vital for the Bulldogs last season in helping them secure a state tournament berth. He has great size, a pure stroke, and he does a great job moving with the ball to find spaces in the defense to get his shot off.

6.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2511594' first='Luke' last='Anderson'] (Ankeny) -- 29/67 (43.3%)

Anderson is a true sniper, a bench threat who comes off the pine to launch 3s, and he does so at a high level. As a senior, he could step into a starting role for the Hawks, pairing with [player_tooltip player_id='1977422' first='Rio' last='Aguirre'] to give them one of the best one-two shooting punches in the class.

7.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1381420' first='Jalen' last='Richardson'] (Johnston) -- 41/95 (43.2%)

Richardson has really improved as a shooting threat over the last few years, going from a driving wing to a versatile all-around offensive weapon. He has a smooth stroke and range well beyond the high school line, and he shoots it well off both the dribble and the catch.

8.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1977422' first='Rio' last='Aguirre'] (Ankeny) -- 62/147 (42.2%)

A high IQ guard who could be among the leaders in the class in scoring as a junior, Aguirre has a tremendous feel for the game, knowing how to get to his spots both off the dribble and without the ball in his hands. He has a high, fluid release on his jumper, unlimited range, and doesn't force anything.

9.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1484415' first='DeAndre' last='Smith'] (Davenport North) -- 26/62 (41.9%)

Smith was really good as a junior for the Wildcats, using his 6-5 frame to get to the rim for finishes as well as get his shot off over opposing players. He shoots it well off both the dribble and the catch and should step into an even bigger role as a senior following several losses to graduation.

10.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2419793' first='Mack' last='Heitland'] (Waukee Northwest) -- 28/69 (40.6%)

Heitland was great as a freshman for the Wolves, coming off the bench to provide a scoring spark as a perimeter shooting threat with a quick release and unlimited range. He's one of the top 2027 prospects in the state in a few different sports.
