Who are the high level stock risers from the summer of 2024? We give you those 2025 names now!

[player_tooltip player_id='1874916' first='Micah' last='Curtis'] of St. Louis Park/J Sizzle (6'7 Pf). Marley grabbed the attention in terms of prospect status because there is more of the perimeter shooting and skill items that caught attention but mind you, it was Micah's paint efforts and 100 percent constant work that led him to lead the Orioles in scoring last year at over 21 a game. And we saw a lot of that this summer in the various events (MBCA, Breakdown, team camps, 17u play, etc) as he put in double-double efforts. Headed to UND.

[player_tooltip player_id='2103251' first='Ganden' last='Gosch'] of Mankato East/Minnesota Rise (6'5 F). Ganden turned his play up considerably in the summer at MBCA Camp, in Breakdown events, and playing with Rise and Select. We saw more of the stretch forward game, we saw Ganden score explosively more, and we really saw him finish physically. Ganden is committed to Minnesota State-Mankato.

[player_tooltip player_id='1574215' first='Abu' last='Keita'] of Park Center/J Sizzle (6'5 Sf). This summer I think we got a chance to see more of what Abu can do than we've seen in a few years. Playing with Park Center, Keita did more as a go to scorer and we saw him go at the rim and finish through contact, plus we saw more explosion from Abu going to the rim than I think many were aware of. It's going to be very interesting to see how he develops with PC this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1454976' first='Wyatt' last='McBeth'] of Wayzata/[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Shepherd (6'6 Pf). McBeth took a big step this summer and he did it in a lot of ways. McBeth shot a high percentage facing up, he used his size to be a very good defender, rebounder and finisher in the paint, and mostly he made game winning plays helping his team win a lot of games. McBeth I think is a D2 level prospect with a lot of growth because he is long, agile and skilled, and he can still add core strength and get better.

[player_tooltip player_id='1617724' first='John' last='Schmidt'] of Chanhassen/[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Shepherd (6'5 Sf). [player_tooltip player_id='1617724' first='John' last='Schmidt'] is what 17u basketball and development from junior year to senior year is all about. John scored 11.5 points a game last year shooting 38.5 percent at the arc on 3/4 treys a game and he shot 47 percent from the field. Schmidt then took his game to another level with Fury Shepherd scoring in similar ways: hitting at the arc and attacking the basket and scoring in strong percentages. Schmidt is the type of worker that colleges will love.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874925' first='Preston' last='Thielke'] of Champlin Park/Minnesota Crossfire (6'2 Sg). The Rebels are the hot name right now with [player_tooltip player_id='1288748' first='Tyler' last='Wagner'] transferring in and [player_tooltip player_id='2524650' first='Kwatamah' last='Silikpoh'] having a first team 15U All State summer. But don't forget about Thielke who was fantastic during 17u season drawing a D2 offer and coming off a 19 point per game junior year. Thielke is one of the better scorers in the 2025 class and he is going to have a huge winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1575347' first='Luke' last='Wherley'] of Shakopee/[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] (6'5 Sf). Wherley became healthy in the summer and then his play started to draw the same type of attention we expected when he was playing well last summer. Wherley was hitting shots from the perimeter, he was using a dribble well, and he was actively scoring in the Fury actions. Wherley was doing things as a three and a stretch four that he has the potential to do and he really hadn't had the chance to do since last July. Headed to Jamestown.
