All-Freshman Showcase Team

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The month of August is almost done. Since this was the month of showcases, we will end it by reviewing the top players from the respective showcases. We will begin with the Freshman Showcase. Some of the best young talent from across the state participated in this event. While the top six were named to the "All-Showcase" team, there were definitely more than six who stood out. He played with a mature and confidence not seen by most freshmen. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2532106' first='Landon' last='Wilson']</strong> played well offensively in Baton Rouge. He scored from all three levels during the day. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2532072' first='Aiden' last='Burch']</strong> displayed inside and outside scoring ability during the showcase. He is more nimble than observers would think. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2532096' first='Jay' last='Dantzler']</strong> has a complete game. He drained the pull up three just as easily as it was for him to get to the rim. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2529174' first='Kendrick' last='Davenport']</strong> from Winnfield has a top tier, two-way talent. His play can dominate both ends of the floor. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2435964' first='Devion' last='Stewart']</strong> has a high ceiling as well. He has a different level of speed. <strong>Calvin Dagley</strong> <strong>Jr</strong> is a point guard who can score or facilitate. His decision-making is what sets him apart. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2532091' first='David' last='Thomas']</strong> is an excellent offensive talent. His play will have him see some varsity minutes this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2529529' first='Brennon' last='Moreno']</strong> is a skilled big man who can rebound and pass. His ability to do both helps any offense flow better. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2532089' first='Darren' last='Ford']</strong> is a big guard who can shoot the lights out.
