Devion Stewart Devion Stewart 6'3" | SG/SF Booker T. Washington-Shreveport | 2028 State LA  stepped into a leading role at Booker T. and delivered. He has grown and looks to be closer to 6’5″. He is comfortable in the post and has the size to do damage in the paint. He rebounds and defends at a consistent level but also has the ability to knock down the mid-range shot. The two-sport athlete will be a major part of the Booker T. program moving forward. He has the ability to carry the team, and when that happens, watch out. Any coach looking for a young hybrid post player will enjoy Stewart’s game.

Stewart is about to have the opportunity to showcase his full skill set at BTW. As a freshman, he was a solid piece, but this season, he can jump to a key piece. He is a high-level two-sport athlete, and he will play one (or both) at the next level. He has the size and skill to excel this season, considering some player moves opened up more opportunities for the rising sophomore. 

When it comes to a complete offensive skill set, Stewart has the most extensive one. He is a player who can score from the perimeter or the paint. Stewart can also handle the ball like a guard. He is very talented. Defensively, he can switch onto anyone which helps. Stewart and his extraordinary skill set will have him possibly ranked in the top ten.

Stewart is a wing/forward that will fit into exactly what Coach Sykes wants to do at BTW. He is a forward who can handle the rock in the open floor like a guard. Stewart can attack the rim from the wings and post smaller players. He likes to play on the perimeter even with his other skills. However, Devion can be a player who creates mismatches on the offensive end for his team.

Devion is a good sized post/wing player that take pride in matching up against other talented prospects.  A hard nosed defender that showed the ability to guard any position on the floor. I really enjoyed seeing him seek challenging matchups and holding his own on both ends of the floor. He should progress into a solid player in the future!
