We are pushing this list to three figures and that will include a lot of guards. Today we run though some of the top guard additions from the six-foot and under group.

[player_tooltip player_id='2433532' first='Max' last='Beeninga'] of Wayzata/[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] (5'11). Just what Wayzata needed right? Another tough minded, skilled Beeninga moving into the varsity program! lol sorry Lake Conference. I don't know what the [program_tooltip program_id='2075965' first='Trojans' last=''] have for backcourt reserves this year so maybe Max will be on JV but he had a great year for the Fury so anything he does this winter will not be a surprise.

[player_tooltip player_id='2402042' first='Akan' last='Berisso'] of Maple Grove/[program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] (5'11). I would say the two things that I have learned about Akan that stood out the most were his ability to make clutch plays both with the creation and with the late game shot making, and Berisso is a very good defender as well. Good passer as well, a quality all around player.

[player_tooltip player_id='2416947' first='Ayden' last='Green'] of Breck/Blue Chips (5'9). What I loved about watching Green was his intelligence of knowing who he is and what he has to do versus a defense. Great handles and Green is so quick to his attacking spots because he knows he has to beat the defense quicker than some others to get his looks and he does that. Also a shooter that you have to locate quickly. Had a great year with Blue Chips.

[player_tooltip player_id='2405556' first='Tre' last='Lovelace'] of Simley/[program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley'] (6'0). In truth, when I saw Tre play for the first time during the 2022-23 season I swear the program said he was in 7th grade so I thought he was a 2028. But he's a 2027 and after he scored 15 a game for Simley last year you can definitely see he's a top 20/25 level player in a very good class of Minnesota players/prospects. And playing for Willie Braziel will really help him too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2524689' first='Marcus' last='Marshall Jr'] of Minneapolis North/Minnesota [program_tooltip program_id='2075852' first='Spartans' last=''] (5'10). Marshall scored 15 a game last year for North and was one of the best players in the Minneapolis City Conference. Marshall has one of the best shooting touches in the class and had a great first year as a top Class AA scoring threat.

[player_tooltip player_id='2524650' first='Kwatamah' last='Silikpoh'] of Champlin Park/[program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] (5'10). One of the surprises of the year last year was the emergence of Silikpoh having such a big impact as a freshman scoring nearly 11 points a game. He then was the playmaker for [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] all year playing in a McKinley Wright sort of way. Kwatamah is one of the top guards in his grade.

[player_tooltip player_id='2433515' first='Kolby' last='Thompson'] of Prior Lake/[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] (5'10). Thompson is the latest Fury point guard that excels at running their offense and does a great job distributing the ball for this team. Good shooter too and he played a bit of varsity last year as well so he comes into his sophomore year experienced.

We are pushing this list to three figures and that will include a lot of guards. Today we run though some of the top guard additions from the six-foot and under group.
