Talented 2027 guard Caleb Lundy left Lenape for Archbishop Wood, creating a hole in the Indians' offense. Group 4 is still loaded with talent, including in the 2027 class. Here are the 2027 Group 4 guard prospects to track.

[player_tooltip player_id='2344521' first='Micah' last='Gordon'], 5'10 PG Plainfield

Gordon had an electric debut season as he poured in over 500 points in 2023-24. The 5'10 guard has a lightning quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and can score in a variety of ways around the rim. Gordon has a clean release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. He finds his open teammates in the halfcourt and plays with good anticipation on the defensive end. Gordon can put up points in bunches and will be one to watch throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2201953' first='Jayden' last='Johnson'], 5'10 CG Elizabeth

Johnson should take a big step up in 2024-25 as the ball will be in his hands more. The 5'10 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Johnson is more than just a shooter as he can also get into the paint off the bounce and finish around the basket. He moves well without the ball in his hands and slides his feet on the defensive end. Johnson is a sharpshooting guard prospect whose ability to play on and off the ball will help his development over the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='2344534' first='James' last='Roberts'], 5'11 PG East Orange

Roberts is the Jaguars' top returning scorer from last season and will be one of the 2027 prospects to watch in Essex County. The 5'11 guard wastes little motion in his release and can knock down triples in bunches. Roberts moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the halfcourt. He is an underrated passer and works hard on the defensive end. Roberts had two 20-point games in 2023-24 and should eclipse that number early in the 2024-25 season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2201944' first='Allan' last='Gomez'], 5'11 PG Union City

Gomez has the potential to break out this season as he will be tasked with more responsibilities. The 5'11 guard plays with composure on the ball as he rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure and threads passes to his open teammates. Gomez has a clean release on his jumper and only needs a little bit of space to get his shot off. He can also play off the ball and is an underrated defender. Gomez's ability to run the offense effectively will help his stock in a big way over the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2347936' first='Devin' last='Williams'], SG Eastern

Williams will have a bigger role in the Vikings' offense, which will help his game in a big way. He has a good release on his jumper and rarely forces jumpers in the halfcourt. Williams knows how to move without the ball in his hands as he gets open in the halfcourt. He is a solid rebounder and is unafraid of doing the dirty work on the defensive end. Williams' ability to stretch the floor along with defending the ball will help his stock throughout the 2024-25 season.

Talented 2027 guard Caleb Lundy left Lenape for Archbishop Wood, creating a hole in the Indians' offense. Group 4 is still loaded with talent, including in the 2027 class. Here are the 2027 Group 4 guard prospects to track.
