With the scholastic live period over and the grassroots live period going on, we thought it would be a good time to look at some specific specialists in different areas. Here's a look at part two of some of the top shooters in the Northern VA area of the state.

Hancock broke on the scene as an elite shooter at DMV Live two years ago heading into his sophomore season, and nothing has changed as he still is one of the most consistent in the DMV. He has effortless range out to the volleyball line off the catch, he moves well off the ball to free himself and create passing lanes, he shoots it at a ridiculously high clip from deep and he is starting to be able to create off the bounce too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782690' first='Silas' last='Devonish'] | 5'9” PG | Bishop Ireton 2026

While Devonish is starting to show some improvements as a floor general and playmaker, he's still one of the most deadly shot makers who can flat out take over games when he gets it going. He's shifty off the bounce with the ability to create space in step backs and knock down shots, he can stop on a dime and leave defenders to hit pull-ups, he can knock it down off the catch and he gets hot quickly and often.

[player_tooltip player_id='1767553' first='Trey' last='Fitch'] | 6'4” WG | Fairfax Christian 2026

Fitch is a shooter I fully expect to have a breakout season this year with a more involved role in the Fairfax Christian offense, and he'll get plenty of shots with their inside-out play and guards who can create. He is a great spot up shooter who can relocate after dumping it inside, he can come off screens and set his feet and he has great form that looks the same whether he's wide open or dealing with a tough closeout.

[player_tooltip player_id='1963548' first='Colin' last='Stemberger'] | 5'8” PG | Westfield 2026

Stemberger is joining an already talented Westfield team where he'll be another scoring threat who can make shots from all over the floor. He can light it up from deep both off the catch and off the bounce, he's shifty and knows how to create space and gets his feet set quickly to get into his shot and he can get to spots in the midrange as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2612817' first='Colin' last='Byrd'] | 6'3” WG | Paul VI 2026

Byrd is an emerging prospect who had a breakout DMV Live where he showed he's going to be a very integral part of their team as a high energy “3 and d” player. He shot the ball at a very high clip from deep in both sessions showing good form from the feet up, he moved well off the ball and spaced the floor well for drivers and his ability to guard the other team's best player is another positive too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2353610' first='Jayden' last='Betz'] | 6'0” PG | Episcopal 2027

Betz is part of a young Episcopal team that is on the rise and is one of their better shooters that will make him an important part of this team. He can handle the ball and come off of ball screens to knock down shots when defenders go under, he can move off the ball where he can catch and shoot it from deep and he has a good IQ and doesn't force tough shots.
