Spellman transfers back to the 757 after spending a year at Hopewell where he helped them to the state championship game last year, and he's now going to be one of the go-to guys on a Norivew team that could be the most slept on team in all of Class 5 this year in the VHSL. The 6'7” wing has always been and still is one of the most intriguing long term prospects in the state, as he has great physical and athletic tools as well as an archetype that should bold well moving forward. He has great positional size that translates well to the next level, he shoots the ball at a high clip from deep, and he has a ton of upside on the defensive end that when it's all put together he could be an absolute steal in college, particularly if he takes a post graduate year.

McGee is part of that huge group of Team Breakdown players that transferred from Florida to Gillion Academy making them one of the top teams in the country, and the Arkansas State commit is one of the more dynamic newcomers to the DMV heading into the season. The 6'4” off guard has a ton of ability to impact the game across the board, and he does so with a ton of energy and a lot of toughness to him as well. He's a big time athlete who plays above the rim offensively and is a good shot blocker for his position as well, he can knock down shots at a consistent clip from deep, he can handle in transition and break down defenders in isolation, and he's an unselfish player who will do what it takes to help his team win as well.

Mgbako is one of a couple of retainers for a new look Oak Hill team that should make some noise on the EYSL Circuit this season, and if the New Jersey native is able to consistently produce the way he's shown over the years he could be one of the best available prospects in the country. At 6'5” with a strong frame he's a physical and skilled guard that can fill it up with the best of them, with the ability to score it in bunches from multiple levels and take over games with his scoring ability. He knocks it down from deep with range at a consistent level off the catch, he can get to spots effortlessly and create space and score it in the midrange, and he uses his athleticism to finish on the offensive end as well as make plays on the defensive end whether it's jumping passing lanes or challenging shots.

Creasy has developed nicely over the past two seasons at Blue Ridge, going from a high upside hybrid forward to a big time mismatch threat on the wing who has a blend of size, athleticism, and skillset that makes him an absolute nightmare to matchup with. The ECU commit is the type of player who can win a dunk contest and a three-point contest, as well as his ability in game to guard and play multiple positions and stuff the stat sheet with his two way impact as well. He can come off of screens and move off the ball where he can set his feet and drill it from deep, he can handle and get downhill and play above the rim, he is a good rebounder and runs in transition for easy buckets, and defensively he thrives as a shot blocker and with his ability to switch and guard on the perimeter.

Smith has been our top player in the class since his freshman season at PVI, and it seems to have been a good call since he's the consensus #2 player in the country amongst all the national rankings services. It's crazy to say with not only the guards that have been at PVI over the years, let alone the entirety of the DMV, but Smith might be the best prospect out of the area since Markell Fultz. When it comes to a guy who impacts winning, you won't find anyone in the country better than him as he is a super competitor who brings it on both ends of the floor and is one of the best perimeter defenders I've ever seen in high school. Sporting a 6'10” wingspan he challenges shots and gets deflections easier than many guards I've seen in my 10 years as a scout for Prep Hoops VA. He can handle the rock and changes speeds and directions well to get downhill, he's a super athlete who plays above the rim, and he can move off the ball as someone who can knock down shots from deep and cuts well and runs the floor for easy buckets as well.
