One of the most athletic guards I have seen at the grassroots level. Makes open court finishes in variety. Creates tempo by closing down the passing lanes with a high motor and length. Great defensive leader when able to pick up his defender high, ideal point defender in a 3-2 zone. High accuracy shooting from the wing when in rhythm. Jalan Wingfeild has pro-level size and athleticism. Wingfeild uses his incredible mechanics, strength, and length to create a tough matchup for the defender. He establishes his preferred position with size, and stellar footwork while maintaining ball security. Has a great touch and a high release around the rim to prevent any contest from the defense. On the perimeter, he has deadly spot-up potential and the ability to create space using a dribble pull-up.

Added to size, HoopAtlanta program coaches of all levels are excited about his development. Earning an opportunity to play at a high level produced a few good on-court opportunities and exposure at the 17u level purely based on effort and focus.
