Hall asserted himself vs. Holy Innocents' and in turn inserted himself in the discussion as one of the best 2027 point guards in all of Georgia. He thoroughly dominated the Golden Bears in every facet of the game, pouring in 30 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals in the performance of the week on the boys side. Hall only turned the ball over thrice and shot 9-17 from the field including 5-8 from deep and 7-9 from the line. He drilled clutch threes and had spectacular finishes in traffic all while getting others involved as well. He accounted for nearly every point the Tigers scored in their 53-50 upset of the defending state champs. In a game filled with D-I prospects, Hall hands down was the best on Wednesday.

The big guard provided Pebblebrook with consistency in the backcourt. He did a nice job slashing to the rim, eurostepping to finish in traffic. Jones was physical downhill, absorbing contact getting to the foul line. Jones went 6-9 from the field and 6-8 from the charity stripe to post 18 points against nationally ranked Wheeler.

Locus' heatseeking missile approach when it came to getting to the rim attracted referees to blow their whistle. Locus took 15 free throws cashing in on eight as he finished with 20 points and 13 rebounds in a thrilling overtime win over Butler. Zeki is an explosive athlete with a nose for the ball. He had two steals back-to-back on sideline out of bounds plays to end regulation as Butler struggled to inbound. Zeki is a fierce competitor with a knack for making plays.

D-I schools asked about Bridges after he went for 22 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block. While those offers may not materialize right this moment, Bridges made an indelible mark on those in attendance. Kwamane is a tough-shot maker who is fundamentally sound on both sides of the ball. He is under recruited and has a chance to flourish at the next level.

Big shots kept finding Keppen in the state title game, especially in the fourth quarter. Westin drilled the game-winning three with 38 seconds left from the left wing to lift the Golden Lions to their first state title and a perfect season. Keppen drilled three of St. Pius X's four three-pointers as the rest of the roster struggled to shoot, just 1-11 after making 12 as a team in the Final 4. Westin's mettle in crunch time was impressive as the senior didn't shy away from making any timely plays. He finished with 13 points and 3 assists.

The starting quarterback dominated on the hardwood with his athleticism overwhelming Portal with 25 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks. Miller put his nose down and got to the rim, drawing a slew of fouls as he shot 8-11 from the line. Traviian went 1-3 from downtown and shot an efficient 8-15 from the field.

A three-time state champion, Dontrell's winning DNA showed up again when it mattered most as he scored 11 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter to couple with his 7 rebounds to keep Harlem at bay, outscoring the Bulldogs 24-13 in the final period to beat the Dogs for a fourth time 56-51. The two-way star rode his offense in Macon. Jackson was explosive on drives, the big guard erupting to the rim for slams and tough finishes. He showed the ability to get the ball off the rim for putback dunks. Jackson's athleticism helped him shoot 11-14 from two-point range and 3-3 from the line. I am bullish on his collegiate future as long as he can show the ability to consistently knockdown perimeter shots.
