Desert Pines Young Core - The Jags are expected to have several underclassmen contribute. Sophomores [player_tooltip player_id='2111894' first='Tyler' last='Merto'], [player_tooltip player_id='2128633' first='Caleb' last='Candolesas'], and [player_tooltip player_id='2119321' first='Jonquil' last='Victor'] will all look to piggyback on last year's exprience. Newcomers [player_tooltip player_id='2374347' first='Aaron' last='McMorran'], [player_tooltip player_id='1965156' first='Mike' last='Taylor'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2468244' first='Jaden' last='Redding'] get their first taste of high level Varsity action. They open up against a good Torey Pines squad in AZ Family Bracket.   [player_tooltip player_id='1336295' first='Gerald' last='Patterson'] Stretch Game - Patterson has put together one of the more remarkable High School Careers. Despite being shorter than most of his interior matchups, he's managed to consistently score around the basket. Against this high level talent, looking to see his extended game, to go along with the occasional bucket over bigs.   Gorman's Sensational Sophomores - The defending state champs best upgrades may be internal. [player_tooltip player_id='1965274' first='Ilan' last='Nikolov'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2047786' first='Kameron' last='Cooper'] cut their teeth in the championship season. Now equipped with the experience that only a championship can bring, look for them to step into an Alpha role for the champs.   Comming Home - Several players who started their careers in the state are returning to play for local squads. This includes [player_tooltip player_id='1538588' first='Maleek' last='Simeus'], [player_tooltip player_id='1490283' first='Amare' last='Oba'] and Chris Baudreau.
