went to work in the first quarter for the CIVICA Academy Wolves. The 2027 point guard used crafty moves to get to the rim, making a few tough finishes. He also looked to create opportunities for others, keeping his head up and moving the ball. While the Wolves didn’t come away with the win, he competed hard for all four quarters.

is quicker than his opponents anticipate and he can burn them if they get out of position. He also does a nice job of locating the rim while he’s going full speed towards the basket. Defensively, Candolesas is a pest and he can cover ground at a rapid rate.

Candolesas is one of the many talented shooters on the Desert Pines team this year. He can hit the 3 ball very consistently and he does a great job of working off ball to get open. I would also say he is one of the quicker guards out there, which helps him make plays on defense. There should be a decent amount of minutes headed his way this season and he seems poised to capitalize.

“Bam” as he is affectionately called made the most of his time on the floor. He provided a nice spark off the bench for DP, drilling home a few catch and shoot threes to get himself on the radar.

The PG is a good offensive player with the ability to score the ball. He’s got wiggle and can launch it from deep. The three point shooter is currently a top 5 PG in his class.

Don’t underestimate “Bam” the diminutive guard is a skilled offensive player with the ability to change the scoreboard from behind the three point line. He comes in as a top 30 player.

The man’s name is “Bam” and he’s sure to be one of the most entertaining freshmen. The floor spacing PG has volleyball line range, and is a canidate for my All – Irrational Confidence team.

If I realized that Caleb was actually “Bam” Candolesas he would have been in the rankings. As it is the jitterbug PG has an excellent opportunity to raise his stock once he does enter the 2027 rankings. The offensively skilled PG, earned a spot on Desert Pines Section 7 roster this year.
