The rising seniors aren't the only ones with something to prove during the live period. The sophomore and junior classes feature intriguing storylines and notable players who participated on Sunday. Here are three from each class and snapshot of what fans and coaches can expect of them going forward:

After being just 5'8 last summer, Byrd experienced a variety of growing pains during the season. But, in the spring with [program_tooltip program_id='2078682' first='K-Low' last='Elite'] and on Saturday with the Burrs, he looks to be getting comfortable in his still-growing body. The Jersey native knocked down shots from the perimeter and mixed in some reps on-ball versus St. Elizabeth and ANC.

[player_tooltip player_id='1406792' first='Zaahir' last='Muhammad-Gray'] | 6'6 W 2026 Imhotep

Adding the ANC to their schedule last minute, the Panthers were without four of their usual starters. So Bro. Andre put the ball in Muhammad-Gray's hands and asked him to rock out. He took his matchups seriously, using his strength and improved handle to create shots for himself in the mirage and from three. It was just one game, but hopefully it was a preview of what he'll showcase during the Live Period.

[player_tooltip player_id='2364681' first='Marquis' last='Newson'] | 6'5 G 2027 ANC

Newson was as advertised during his freshman year at Sanford, leading the Warriors in scoring and to some upset victories on the way to the Delaware state quarterfinals. He's proved he's a national level talent on the EYBL circuit, but now he has the opportunity to do so in PA with the Lions. In ANC's two victories over West Catholic and Imhotep, Newson put pressure on the rim with ability to slash to the basket then finish with craft or above the rim. That was just the warmup for what he'll display at Blair and Hun School over the next two weekends.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352449' first='Alassan' last='N'Diaye'] | 6'5 F 2026 Neumann-Goretti

After exploding on to the scene as a sophomore at St. Mark's and becoming one of the best 2026 players in Delaware, N'Diaye steps on to an even bigger stage with the Saints. He gives them exactly what they were missing and his rugged style of play should translate immediately. The physical four-man cleans the glass emphatic6ajd makes a living on putbacks, but has shown flashes of other skills. Sunday was his first time playing with his new squad. So as he and his teammates figure one another out, N'Diaye should prove to be a legit prospect and a nuisance for whoever NG plays.

[player_tooltip player_id='2364699' first='Masen' last='Price'] | 6'3 G 2027 St. Elizabeth

After spending his freshman season on JV and besides participating in Spring Leagues with St. E's, Price has mainly been in the lab with his trainers. Known for his catch-and-shoot ability, the work showed against West Catholic and Malvern Prep as he attacked closeouts and got to his spots in the second level. The Vikings have a huge void to fill and a pecking order to establish after some huge losses due to graduation. So if Price plays within himself, this month could be his big debut, regionally.

[player_tooltip player_id='1888850' first='Jasir' last='Tyler'] | 5'10 G 2026 Paul Robeson

A change of scenery could be just what the doctor ordered for Tyler as he comes over from West Catholic. Although he's a true junior, his high level experience thrust him into a major role almost immediately in the opening set versus Dobbins. Tyler ran the show and did a decent amount of everything else, getting his team organized, creating offense, and picking off passes on defense. He even showed that he's working on his long-range jumper. With the keys in his hands, the Huskies will be fun to watch at Philly Live II.
