Gonzales remains one of the most skilled lead guards in this class, given his high IQ and ability to facilitate through tight pressure. Capable of sending bounce passes through tight windows, effectively rewarding off-ball movement. Among all 4A athletes, Gonzales was 2nd overall in assists per game, alongside being in the top-10 for the whole state. Defensively, his IQ shined at the 4A level, quick intercepting passing lanes should opponents telegraph their next decision.

Displaying consistent shotmaking off the bounce, Sheffield has proven himself as a knockdown mid-range scorer while under pressure. His quick release provides him with ample opportunities in the mid-range or out behind the arc, operating out of ball screens or versus slower defenders.

An especially efficient playmaker, the guard has the ball on a string going either direction. Effective leveraging his scoring gravity and notable shotmaking efficiency along the perimeter, he is the last person to leave open. Shooting an absurd percentage back at 6A George Washington, Savoy has continued to reaffirm his consistency off the catch. Given his confidence with the ball, he keeps his head surveying the floor for the extra pass following a cutter or heavy help defense.

Another twitchy lead guard, Lebron commands plenty of gravity due to his soft touch around the rim. Effective operating at full speed while attacking downhill, the sophomore is an ambidextrous finisher at the rim with either hand. Drawing a large amount of free throws this past season with 4A James Irwin. One of four 2026s at the 4A level with 100+ drawn free throws, there is no doubt that Lebron puts significant pressure on the rim. When provided space, he is a capable shooter off the catch.

A high motor lead guard, Burton looks to put pressure on the rim, getting his teammates involved once drawing defenders. He gets plenty of looks out of the pick and roll, actively facilitating Peak to Peak's forwards. Unlike so many guards, Burton is comfortable at full speed, no easy task considering his quick acceleration. Defensively, he works to get into opponents early, rarely allowing uncontested attempts. His impact with B and B Academy has continued to affirm his success throughout this spring season.

Perry has made a huge difference for 3A Peyton, following a 15-7 season where the guard led this group in points and assists per game. Up at 18.8 points and 5.9 from the season, the guard maximizes open space for drives or mid-range shot attempts. With a smooth pivot game, the guard retains balance on movement shot attempts. Given how often he either gets into the paint or is a part of a transition break, Perry is often involved setting up shotmakers with open looks.
