Burton plays very fast with the ball in his hands, going both ways. Excellent as a point of attack defender, the guard’s low center of gravity and quick hips allows him to be a pest along the perimeter. Burton’s playmaking as a high motor lead guard has aided Peak to Peak’s undefeated start to the season, going 10-0. Comfortable attacking the rim, he brings a quick first step which generates greater openings for shotmakers off the kick out or dump off. As well a serviceable point of attack defender, he works to make opposing ball handlers uncomfortable, taking away space early on. Quick to realize when to switch, the guard has been a necessary defensive presence this season. 

A high motor lead guard, Burton looks to put pressure on the rim, getting his teammates involved once drawing defenders.
