Perry was one of our recent 1000-point scorers in the entire state, and he did it to begin his Senior season. He has been a varsity contributor since his freshman season and has elevated his game in each season. He just made a rise in the rankings with his play, and he has Peyton playing extremely well right now. He’s averaging 22.2 points on the season and looking to take his team to a deep playoff run. He’s one of the top scorers in the entire state and has the accomplishment to show how steady he’s been.

He’s also very athletic and is on an incredible stretch right now, and has their team playing the best ball. He’s averaging 22.2 points a game and is coming off a game where he had 31 points against state champions, Simla, in a close win. His team is riding a 4-game winning streak, he’s making the right plays as a playmaker, and has been a prospect who gets it done. Huge jump from him.

The tools are there, and his upside is clear, but the next step is consistency. Perry is a 5’11 who had some monster performances. As a junior, he poured in 18.6 points, 5.1 assists, and 2.1 steals per game. He’s shifty, aggressive off the dribble, and thrives without relying too much on threes, although adding that could elevate his game even more, as defenses try everything in their power to slow him down, they struggle. He’s a microwave scorer and playmaker who could make an even bigger jump this season. Perry earned his spot and could rise again with another big-time season. We expect it. 

Perry is a talented shotmaker out of the mid-range, capable of rising up for attempts on a dime. No surprise that the guard has succeeded in both primary and secondary roles at the club level, given how he gets to his spots within only a handful of dribbles. Although somewhat undersized, Perry has great vision while off-ball, adept at intercepting passing lanes to kickstart a fast break. 

Perry was adept at stringing together tough attempts in the mid-range, dependable at rapidly changing speeds to get the shot off. Bringing notable balance on highly contested or following a self-created look, the guard held his own against notable 6A opponents throughout their 16U title run with 7070 Hester. 

Perry has made a huge difference for 3A Peyton, following a 15-7 season where the guard led this group in points and assists per game. Up at 18.8 points and 5.9 from the season, the guard maximizes open space for drives or mid-range shot attempts. With a smooth pivot game, the guard retains balance on movement shot attempts. Given how often he either gets into the paint or is a part of a transition break, Perry is often involved setting up shotmakers with open looks.
