As always, we had boots on the ground coverage from the opening tip until the final buzzer all weekend long. We will have more content in the coming days including more All-Tournament teams, stock-risers, new names, and more. Let’s start here by taking a look at our 16u All-Tournament Teams.
The Stage First Team All-Tournament
Teammate Mar Nicholson Mar Nicholson 6’4″ | SF Shelbyville | 2026 State IN earned First Team All-Tournament honors to begin the spring at the Prep Hoops Grit Region Kick-Off in Louisville, but it was Franklin leading the way this weekend at The Stage. All In Sports Academy 2026 finished 3-1 with their lone loss coming by five points to a very good Wisconsin Crusaders team. Franklin scored it at a high-level all weekend long showing off his explosiveness in the open floor and ability to get to the rim consistently off of the dribble.
There are a few different names from EG10 2026 that you could make strong, meaningful arguments for to put in this First Team position. However, Malloy seemed to be the most consistent of the bunch throughout the weekend. The 6’2″ guard is at his best shooting it in from three-point range, but also showed off his athleticism attacking closeouts and scoring some up around the rim. He is a skilled all-around offensive player.
Highlights
Full Package Black 2026 went 3-1 on the weekend led by Matz which included 24 points in the first game of the weekend and 16 points, including five three-point shots, in the final game on Sunday. Matz, a 6’2″ guard, was one of the best pure shooters from the Class of 2026 at The Stage.
Highlights
This 6’6″ forward was a dominant presence for the Wisconsin Crusaders 2026 at The Stage. He capped the weekend off with back-to-back games of 24 and 21 points while averaging 19 points per game for the weekend as a whole. Ramberg has impressive length, is skilled around the hoop, and is a fluid mover both end-to-end and when operating in the half court.
No All-Tournament would be complete within giving some love to Kentucky Future Elite 2026’s perfect 4-0 weekend. Shearer’s stat line was incredible finishing the weekend averaging 20 points and 3.5 assists while knocking in a total of 16 three-point shots. He is a true all-around playmaker that can obviously really shoot the basketball as well. Excellent showing for the Russell County High School guard.
