A standout on the football field, Redington was the best player on the floor on Thursday night. The 6’6 senior is one of the more physical finishers I have seen this season, using his strong frame to bounce off opposing players and scoring at will. Redington had an eye popping 28 points and 11 rebounds despite not attempting a single shot outside of 5 feet. The future Augustana tight end, utilized superb footwork, brunson seals, and ball fakes to score at will on the drive and in the post. The Golden Eagles had zero answer for Redington’s dominant physical presence inside. Redington is averaging an unbelievable statline this year putting up 21.7ppg, 14rpg, and 5.3apg. If Berlin can continue their winning ways, Redington has a very strong case to be player of the year in the South Central Conference.

Redington’s athleticism and physical strength were evident throughout the contest with Laconia, but so, too, was his all-out effort and smooth shooting touch from the outside. Redington scored from three-point range, from mid range and in the paint on the way to scoring a game-high 23 points. He also dove on the floor several times in an attempt to get to a loose ball, and he was absolutely dominant on the glass, snaring 17 rebounds. Redington is having a huge junior season as he is averaging 16.5 ppg and 10.7 rpg for the Indians. Redington also is a stellar football prospect as a tight end and linebacker.
