Prep Hoops will provide various editions of true stock risers from the 2026-2028 classes. Let’s get into a list of “Next Up” risers from this season.
Darius Livingston Darius Livingston 6'0" | PG Wekiva | 2025 State FL | CG | 2025 | Discovery | @DariusLjr
The highest scoring output recruit on the list is Livingston Jr. who has lit it up during the offseason AAU period. He’s started building that confidence and scoring ability into the regular season for the Spartans who had a solid 20-7 season. College coaches look out for the rising junior to continue making noise this season with his scoring ability. Still has time to grow into his body but his speed, athletic ability, and DOG mentality has taken him to new heights this junior year.
TJ Drain TJ Drain 6'8" | PF Windermere | 2025 State #295 Nation FL | F | 2025 | Windermere | @tjdrain
Drain has been a very productive developer at the prep level who still has time to work on his frame for the college level. This kid has a solid frame as a long forward prospect who can score off the pick and rolls with a smooth touch around the rim. Drain can also create steals on the defensive side with his lengthy arms that make it tough for the offense. He set the single-game school record with 36 points scored against Olympia during the season.
Deandre Harvey Deandre Harvey 6'3" | CG Williston | 2026 State FL | G | 2026 | Williston | @deeharv_5
The Red Devils have a talented rising sophomore in Deandre Harvey Deandre Harvey 6'3" | CG Williston | 2026 State FL who helped the team to a dominant state championship season. Harvey has shown off elite athleticism to explode near the rim where he’s been a problem with plenty of time to add strength and jumping power. Once he puts it all together on the offensive side combined with the defensive competitiveness at 6-3, college coaches are going to be knocking on the door.
Tre Jackson | CG | 2025 | Lakeland | @TreJackson03
One of the prospects circled on my rising radar list is 6-4 junior combo guard Tre Jackson. Jackson has had an impressive off-season where he’s shown off his scoring bag. He’s an athletic playmaker who stretches the floor with a solid jumper and attacks the paint for tough layups and put-back opportunities. He will now be the focal point once again of the Dreadnaughts offense this coming season.
CJ Hall CJ Hall 6'3" | CG Hillard | 2025 State FL | G | Class of 2025 | Hilliard | @CJHall__
Hall recorded solid numbers during his sophomore season, finishing with over 20 points per game while nearly racking up 7.0 rebounds per game. That is the way to affect the game as an aggressive guard prospect that can score the rock consistently and be a scrapper on the boards. Plays with a big guard mindset but has a decent jumper and good body control around the rim.
Nick Bearden | CG | 2025 | St. Pete | @nick_bearden3
Bearden is a scoring machine as he finished in the top 10 scoring list for 2025s with 22.1 ppg. He’s put on some impressive showings in the offseason where he can be a primary ball handler and initiate the offense. The 6-3, 180-pound two-sport athlete is an athletic scoring guard who can generate some college interest.
