Size: 6-8 | Commitment: Liberty University
Drain has been steadily developing his game at the prep level and is now set to make a name for himself as a Liberty commit. Standing at 6-8, Drain’s length and mobility make him a nightmare in pick-and-roll situations, where he finishes with a smooth touch around the rim. Defensively, his wingspan allows him to create steals and alter shots, giving offenses a hard time when he’s patrolling the paint. As he continues to build his frame, expect Drain to be a force in the post this season.

TJ Drain TJ Drain 6'8" | PF Windermere | 2025 State #295 Nation FL is a 6’9 forward who’s making his case to move up in the 2025 rankings. He has a soft touch on his shots from inside and outside the paint. Drain is showing strides as a shooter but relies on scoring within ten feet with a consistent right hook to anchor his scoring. He’s all over the boards on both ends. He produces at a high level without plays being ran for him and without flashy moves. An easy double double threat who will challenge shots at the rim with his length and quick leaping. Definitely a prospect with a high ceiling because of his effort level, slight frame, and raw skillset on both ends of the floor.

The 6-8 junior forward does a great job when it comes to owning the glass at both ends of the floor, playing with a ton of length and strength. On the offensive end, Drain has gained more consistency in improving his mid-range game where he is knocking down shots from 15 feet from the basket. Drain has also added some muscle since the start of last season where he limits the opposition from getting second chance scoring opportunities. Look for him to start gaining recruitment interest as the season rolls on.

Drain is starting to pick up some college interest heading into the fall season. The 6-8 forward lefty prospect is a good-framed junior who has plenty of time to add weight to his frame while working on his footwork mechanics near the basket. Drain is a lengthy product that can run the floor and finish consistently at the rim. On the opposing side, he’s a scraper for a forward who isn’t afraid to make a play with his body whether it’s drawing a charge or meeting scorers at the rim. The sleeper jump shot will surprise a lot of defenders as he can extend the floor with three-range ability.
