Continue ReadingA physical forward, Fenton has “country boy” strength and puts it to good use as an imposing force around the rim. He seems to relish contact, battling on the offensive glass and finishing around the rim. The Red Oak forward flashes some moments of a face up game, which would be helpful to his next level chances. In an early Sunday morning OT win for the Runners, it was a go ahead score by Fenton that delivered the victory.
A workhorse prospect, Amous often is doing the dirty work around the rim with boards, blocks and non flashy buckets. But one of his dirty work plays did lead to an opportunity to show off his athleticism. He jumped a pass, raced to the other end and threw it down with authority. If the broad shouldered prospect continues to earn chances to show off his ability to play around the rim, he could become a top target prospect for regional programs.
More of a combo forward, Buaman mixed battling on the glass and finishing with good overall defensive awareness. Giving him a Swiss Army Knife type feel for his Next Level Swarm squad. He’s an active and aware helpside defender, with the ability to switch onto guards some as well. The Norman North Timberwolf is a quality glue guy, who raises his squad’s floor.

One of the best athletes at the event, Towns-Robinson assaulted the rim with explosive finishing ability in a Sunday afternoon contest. He’s a physical bruiser, likely with a future in football. But at the grassroots and high school levels, explosive bully ball style football players have a place as a positive impact on winning.
Jacob Smithey
Jacob Smithey
In a Sunday afternoon contest, Smithey was throwing it down with two handed authority when given opportunities in transition, attacking clear lanes as a driver or as a roll man. Another promising moment came when he hit a nice euro near the rim in transition, then made a good feed to a teammate. There’s some perimeter aspects to his game, but he appears to have the size and athleticism to be an impact player around the rim as well.
In both games viewed, Worley was an active rebounder on both ends of the court. Especially running the floor for follow up putbacks in transition, and crashing the glass offensively in the halfcourt. He also flashed some back to the basket scoring ability, with a baby hook. It looks the Deer Creek 2025 forward prospect is a high motor prospect, set for a spring and summer of growth.
