Poster Child
Alozie is playing up a grade and you can’t tell that he is one of the youngsters on the squad. This kid is not just a high flyer, he can create and shoot out in the perimeter. He recently attacked the rim in session 1 of the 3SSB circuit ad rose up on a 7’0 defender and he has been creating a buzz ever since. His stock is rising even though he is among one of the best players in the country top 10 wise in his class.
Local Boys
When you are one of the best teams in the country you tend to pull players from attaching states but here are some of the local boys on the team.
Jones has really been elevating his defense as he has proven he can be a lock down defender as he has the lateral ability to move his feet and compete with those quick guards. His ceiling is high and he has really improved his game since he hit the high school floor. Look for him to continue to garner D1 attention, Jones lives in Layton, Utah.
Highlights
Southwick is among one of the best shooters in the country and with his unique high elevating jumper he is always shooting over long defenders. Thr Richfield, Utah native has been playing well and he is hands down the best shooter in the state. With impressive D1 offers, look for him to add to the list here on the circuit.
Highlights
Burgess looks to continue to add to his skill set on this group. Last season he found his touch in the midrange and also from deep. He was hitting that dunker spot/short corner jumper. He was reading teh defense and space on the floor. He is another player that in 2 or 3 years his body will continue to gain muscle and mature. He is a great next level 4 man.
Allen has picked things up in the ball handling category and he does such a good job of playing off of two and moving that ball around. Known for his on ball defense this kid still has room to improve as a late bloomer.
Overview
This team has a lot of size from players that can defend inside but also cover ground out in the perimeter. Jalin Holland has been shooting well and has been a great scoring addition to this team as he can go off at any time. Augusrine Ekwe is a long and lanky athletic 5 man that can get up and block shots. Fawaz Ifaola is another big fella who not only has size but he big and strong and can hold things down against other similar players.
This team could make another run as they have the talent to beat anyone in the country.
